Added relevent links, did not have the wikia linked to originally because I was under the assumption the info was old (plus the trouble I've had in the past collaberating with people who have run other anime game wikias :v), information is good though, i'm not stopping anyone from checking/updating whatever they want.

They were talking about an option select to beat the throw/assault mixup. by holding 1 and hitting a+b+c you cover the input for both grabbing (a+b) as well as a move that can hit the attacker out of their assault (in this case 2/1C). This only works for characters with a 2C that will beat the assault. This is similar to SFIVs crouch tech option select, where you hold downback and hit lp+lk, because you are crouching the lk will come out unless the other person tries to throw you in which case you will tech the throw because you have used the input to tech throws, if there is a stagger or gap in their blockstring you can hit them out with crouching lk because there is no crouching wiff animation for throws.
  8. I'd rather just wait for the game to come out to grab the graphics rather than use those screen caps means they're super small. If someone else wants to throw them up on the wiki in the meantime that's fine with me.

  11. The new HC combo isn't that bad when you training mode it for 10 minutes. It still sucks and I don't think the change needed to be that severe.

  18. It's a very easy stick to customize. I highly recommend doing something to make it stick out from the rest of the Namco TEs, because it is VERY easy to mix them up (one of my local players had his swapped with another one (I hope accidentally) at a major. Even if it's a different colored balltop. There are also numerous community made options to customize it (buttons, balltops, artwork and plexiglass). As far as the sticks "quality" It's a TE, it comes with Sanwa parts stock, the pcb is common ground (dual mods are fairly straight forward).

  21. There are a few things you can do. The first question that comes to mind is "What Arcana are you using"? If you're using something like Love you can love laser between the cannonballs and speed homing in. If you're using something like Flower, you don't have that option, but what you do have is to high jump. If the Cathy is doing full screen projectile there's not much they can do to stop you, and it's not an unsafe option. You can guard during a high jump, so even if you time it weird you'll just block projectiles until you hit the ground again. Once you do manage to get airborne with the high jump, you can just (speed) homing over the projectiles. Be careful of Cathy covering the space above her, you can't take the same approach every time.
