Proration nerfs are by and large unnoticeable. You'll be doing the same combos for about 300-500 less damage than before, for the most part, and much of that missing damage is from her 10% character combo rate reduction. The really long, extended combos (double BBL, double fatal, etc.) now peter off towards the single digits in damage per hit if you drag them out for too long, which is likely why you don't really see people doing those combos anymore. Character combo rate does not affect untech time.

I suppose I'll test those weird combo routes out myself on Weds. :D And yeah, my package is still in customs today, too, apparently.

The bubble travels faster? Hm. Never noticed that, myself. I'm curious about these combo routes for the bat (this is all attempting to maximize meter gain on a bat combo; not sure any of it will be legit): 5B > 5C > 236B > dash 5C > 2C > j.D (bat) > land 6C > 22C > 6A > 6C > 22C > 5C > ... ...jc j.B > j.C > jc j.B > j.C > j.236Axxx ...6A > 236B > 3C > 5D (bat) > bubble oki? ...6A > 236B > 3C > 5D (bat) > 236B? ...2C > sj.D (bat) > 236B? And, as a combo starter near the corner... 5B > 3C > 5D (bat) ...or other variations of something into 3C > Bat. I'd test this stuff out myself (as well as a bunch of other stuff), but no PS3 or CSE atm, and I'm probably not going down to the arcade till Weds. Oh, and is there actually a Plat skype? lol

You can just delay after the 6A for the 236B to be a legit combo.

Just fyi, cat hammer hitbox doesn't guarantee that you'll hit opponents at point blank. If you're pushed up directly next to the opponent, it'll still whiff.

It's still 4k if you do the 6C 22C, I think? Not really sure. You can't do 5-6k off it without items anymore, though. No more 6C > 22C > 6A > 22C > 6A > 22C, I believe.

PS3 component cable works fine, right? I have one for the Hauppauge streaming setup, and I'll probably have to run the PS2 output through my string of converters, anyway.

2B is still great in CSX, imo. 5B's hitbox extends faster in this game, and the move itself is possibly 1 frame faster. 2A > 5B is still not a legitimate combo. It has its uses, and it can punish whiffs and whatnot at ranges that 5C and other, better starters, can't. It's definitely similar to Ragna's 5B, but it's not as good or viable for footsies and pressure.

Oh, if they just do 236B > 5C > 2C > 214C > Air Ender, it's probably in the mid to high 3k range.

Not sure if anyone was actually planning to stream it. We do have stream equipment around, but... streaming vs. playing Gundam? >_>

I've got a PS2 pad, so I'll pass on that. $5 goes towards ebaying a PS2 stick... eventually. :V

I'm not sure. Someone else will have to test it, since I can't hit the arcade today. I suspect the answer may be no, though, and that the combo will drop after the second 22C. In the current combo, I don't believe 22C > 5A > 6A > 236B is possible, if that's any indication. If it turns out that you can't do 5C after the second 22C, it might be possible to use the bat to wallbound the opponent again and end with another Mami... but it'd probably be best to just drop the second 6C loop and go immediately into an ender. Edit: I assumed you meant 2B > 5C, for some reason. 2B > 5B > 5C is almost definitely a no.

Damage-wise, it's still above Cat Hammer for combos. Utility-wise, it's still a great instant overhead. In general, her damage got normalized, which I find to be a pretty nice change. :D

I suspect you don't even need the bat equipped before you do the combo. You can probably just 2C > 5D (load bat) > j.D (bat) and combo that way. edit: whoa, the clapping guy shows up on top of spoilers. that looks sorta neat.

The pushback itself does not have any effect on the amount of frame advantage you have. It's simply how far away the opponent slides away during their blockstring.
