  1. The fate gauge reverts to 7 after a round is over, if the opponent is below 7 at the end of the round. That said, it's apparently difficult (but possible) to combo into her insta-kills, so it forces a burst from the opponent if they get tagged by a good combo and they're in danger state. If Naoto messes up her combo and the opponent invulns through/jumps over/blocks Hamaon/Mudoon, the fate gauge reverts to 14, and the entire countdown has to start over again. Remember that she also has to have her Persona active to even tick the gauge down at all, so once her persona is disabled, she basically becomes a weaker zoning character with mediocre damage output.
  2. Yeah, as long as I'm not actively streaming PNW WCG, lol.
  3. If your 6C is whiffing after you hitconfirm 5B > 2B on a standing opponent, then... you might not be hitting a standing opponent? That, or you're chaining into 6C at the very last moment, which makes the combo drop. The latter is actually sort of hard to do on purpose, though, because you have a huge window to hit 6C.
  4. What in the world did I just see.
  5. Last URL is malformed at the beginning. Should be this one.
  6. Actually, does she cheer on her sempai during battle? Haha.
  7. Hey, at least you do mixups. I tend to not even bother. I guess not doing mixups is like a mixup itself... until people realize you aren't doing mixups. ./cough And I'd wanted to learn to Tsubaka since way before she came out, dammit. I just never really got around to it.
  8. Welcome back to the fold, kro~. But seriously, I was really looking forward to learning some Tsubaki combos, too.
  9. Sounds like an entertaining day for KOF players.
  10. My j.2C combos aren't where I have problems. :P I've done those since CT. I don't have the j.2C -> mid-combo frog down pat, though. I just don't do anything that requires brainpower, like... mixups... or yomi.... :D Too much effort! I doubt I'll make it out of pools this year, haha.
  11. Mine didn't even make it into pools. ;P
  12. Remember that he can guardpoint TD and get free damage on you if you're space badly.
  13. Watch out for stuff like quick-rise j.D, D nails into 2A/command throw mixup, etc. His offense is fairly strong, and he can throw out some very wild stuff on wakeup (he might as well, sometimes), even though his actual defense options are pretty meh.
  14. 2C isn't fatal, lol. And 2C counter with or without BBL midscreen is going to be around 3-3.5k in the new game, anywhere on the screen, which is more than can be said about most guardpoints and reversals. But yeah. I can't troll people with it anymore. Makes me very sad.
  15. Wrong. Miku is the best Miku in America. Xie's Platinum is the best in America. And my Platinum is simply tie-dye.
  16. I think the argument is that a sharp blade is best, but a sharp blade without a handle is rather, uh... hard to use. Gotta have the best of both worlds!
  17. Play hard, and remember that the Japanese version of the game has an even harder mode. Then be sad.
  18. Because it's not worth playing that game unless it's bodying you all the time. :D
  19. It's basically guaranteed if there's an English demo already, haha.
  20. Bridget is lovely. And Platinum is a guy in America. Japan's Platinum is female.
  21. Basically this. That said, Atlus doesn't always release games that they collaborate on. See "Nora and the Time/Engraving Studio" as an example. I am ridiculously in need of that game in English, but there is no information on it being even considered for localization by either Gust or Atlus. This game has a far higher chance of being localized, though, seeing as how it's a Persona game.
  22. So, not a DP, but still pretty useful. Full-body guardpoint + easy hitconfirm seems interesting. Ahh, wish we had the game here so we could test things.
  23. The reason I'm calling it guardpoint is because in BB (unless I'm missing something), superarmor doesn't prevent the superarmor'd character from taking damage. It just lets them finish their attack. Guardpoint, on the other hand, causes those blue guard flashes on hit, causes the player to take no damage, and allows the player to finish his/her attack. There's no beating out a guardpoint with damage, you just have to wait for the guardpoint to end. I'm guessing the all-out rush guard is full-body, as well, which means you can't go around it either. Very curious to know if that holds true in P4U, because that basically means every character has a DP in the form of all-out rush.
  24. Man. There's so much Rachel in Ragna clothes stuff nowadays.
