  1. Yeah, I figured. :P I'm not really worried about that sorta stuff, I just happened to be responding to his post anyway. xD Was looking through the TGS footage, and man, that all-out rush has some crazy guardpoint on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRqlxrkyGwE#t=9m10s Oh, and I think the volume comment was actually on Ziodyne. Whoops.
  2. Aerial pumpkin oki is only good if you have the wind stock to back it up. Slower initial wind recovery makes it even less appealing to burn extra stock towards the end of a combo. Meaty 236A isn't particularly amazing against a lot of the cast, and it gives opponents free forward rolls, but eh, it has its uses.
  3. Her stats (I'm assuming you mean the little 5-way graph thing) are on her movelist image: http://p-atlus.jp/kouhou/P4U_torisetsu7.jpg And yeah.... that stuff gets sorta lost in here. Good luck~.
  4. Nope, no answer. BBL was ridiculously loud when CT first came out. Iirc, they released a patch for consoles later on that lowered its volume. You could deafen and scare little kids at arcades by using it whenever they walked by. And no comment on the other part. >_> Somehow, that reminds me that there was a note on 2ch about Chie having short range but very high speed. Some people were wondering if Akihiko and Chie played similarly, or something, as they're both supposed to have similar speeds and reach. Yay, Teddie~... for 5 seconds~. I'll slap that in the video section for Teddie, anyway. Check the other thread. The one where all the information is put. >_> And you're using an incorrect movelist translation. That special is not Marin Karin.
  5. Didn't really see anything concrete on 2ch, and it hurts my head to try reading through there... but I was entertained by these two notes: - Some people are wondering what happens to the P3 characters when glasses are enabled. - Maziodyne is apparently stupidly loud and annoying, to the point where it's CT Rachel Baden Baden status. People can hear it from way off in the distance.
  6. Just tell them Plat's a guy, and you'll get some even funnier looks. :D
  7. I want to do that with Teddie, but not only do we not have descriptions of his normals, we also don't have videos or many images for him. I did put circus Teddie in, though, hahaha.
  8. I... might try really hard to buy it. If GSC did a Plat figure, I'd almost 100% get it.
  9. Copied from the other thread, again:
  10. Copy pasting/quoting the newer translations into the other thread. We can delete/move that post if we decide we don't want to put old stuff in that thread.
  11. Well, all that info came from some tests at some point, I guess.... lol. I figure all the game info should go in that thread, though. Information will get buried in this thread. Guess what? I found out what Yosuke's R action is. It's "Dodge". Literally. Thought about it for a while and thought it might be a P4 game term, checked on the JP wiki, and voila. The term is used in a series of skills available to the player in P4. For example, the skill "火炎見切り" was translated to "Dodge Fire" in the English version of the game. "真・火炎見切り" was similarly translated to "Evade Fire" (it's a stronger version of the same skill). I also figured out what Mitsuru's final skill is called. "クー・ドロア" is "Coup Droit", a French term for "straight-lunge" in fencing. Ugh. These move names are freakin' irritating. edit: just teddie left, and I'm basically done trying to figure that out. just going to use the romaji for now.
  12. Iirc, it's generally considered rude to go into an establishment and take pictures/record videos of people or things inside. Especially if those people are paying to be there. Some places are okay with it, but in general, not a great idea. Edit: sotw, you should probably copy-paste that yosuke info into the loketest info thread.
  13. Interesting combo. There's no real reason to do it over the 3C7D variation, as both give about the same damage (~4.8-5.1k) and meter (~19-24). Having said that, I believe this version is universal to all characters (ie: you do it exactly the same to everyone, unlike 3C 7/8/9D, where some characters fall out of 3C oddly). The problem with this combo is that the opponent has to be very, very close to the ground when BBL catches them, otherwise George doesn't activate immediately. Miss the timing on that BBL and you'll be whiffing a super through the opponent's neutral tech. edit: you get less wind regen from this combo, though, so that's a minus.
  14. Nice info. It's interesting to see that you can combo into the two kill supers. Guess that means that getting hit-confirmed into a combo while in danger state means you're basically dead. I wonder how difficult that is, though, seeing as how it's noted as being "a pain to combo into". Hm. I wonder if P4U runs on a proration system, ala BB?
  15. Hm. It honestly doesn't sound that difficult to get the fate gauge down to zero, so I'm a bit surprised if he thinks it's hard. Not sure if that's a player skill thing or a game design thing. Oh well, gotta wait for those vids.
  16. I want to see a Miwa Shirow or redjuice version of Platinum. xD Yes, yes, I'm a vocaloid person. >_>
  17. furix! you have no cupcakes, now. i must go visit yuushiro for cupcakes instead.
  18. 6 bullets? I'm fairly sure it lists 5 bullets on the movelist, so either the movelist is wrong or the player remembered the count wrong. Other than that, pretty interesting stuff. I'm entertained that Teddie is annoying to fight against, though that was pretty much what everyone was expecting after seeing his movelist and design, hahahaha.
  19. Well, Yosuke's R Action lists "in accordance to opponent's move", which is only listed next to reactive/counter-type R-actions (ie: Teddie, Naoto). Don't know what the move looks like, though, so.... Hard to make any real judgement calls there. Kuu-doroa. I still don't know what this is. If we knew what her moves looked like, that'd help... The closest thing I can think of is "Cool drawer," which both sounds stupid and isn't really an exact translation from the katakana (kuuru = cool). And ah. Well, I stand by the villain theory.
  20. @Yosuke's All-Out: Ah. Well, the somewhat lackluster translation still stands. @Mitsuru: Her other super's name is known. It's just pointless to translate it. In English, it would be something like "instant early summer rain attack". Hence why I left it as romaji. You can just make up a similar name in its place, if you want an English title. "Shuyaku" might be the villain? I assume that every fighting game needs a final boss, after all. Lol, I guess I was sorta right.
  21. Narukami: 乾坤一擲 = "All or nothing/All-in/etc." Yosuke: 見切り (in accordance to the opponent's attack; ie: counter) Not sure how to translate Yosuke's, sorry. Would need to see the move in action before I could settle on a translation... but I think it's best if someone with reliable Japanese give this one a lookover. edit: Found a clip of it, I think? Anyway, it's generally translated as "give up/abandon", so perhaps he abandons his position? Ergh. Whatever. Hahahaha. That's how you market to pk, eh?
  22. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/member.php?25387-dugBreequeBen Temp banned. Need someone else to clean up the posts and permaban.
  23. I think all the movelists have been translated in some form or another now, too, and the notes on the movelist images are basically covered by all the info we know about the characters from the loketests. Mm... No new info and no videos. On Teddie's Perakkuma: I'm just going to assume it's some sort of dodge move. Low profiles most attacks? So it looks like Pera Kuma is a play on ぺらっぺら...? So, I guess, either "smooth bear" (hazamabear) or "thin bear"? Eh. I'll probably just leave it as Pera Kuma or something.... (or is it the the sound effect for paper? "paper bear". ergh, whatever) "パンチグローブ…斜め上にむけてパンチグローブを口から伸ばす対空技" <-- Teddie also has a boxing glove anti-air move?
  24. Loketests do tend to get recorded, though rather, er, illegally. On Naoto's awakening super: I believe it's just one super with two parts. If you use A/B after the super input, then she shoots normal (??) bullets at the opponent. If you use C/D, she shoots her critical shot, which is the massive damage. I am sad to see that Teddie's awakening super does not involve human form Teddie. I still had hopes that Alice and human-Teddie would make cameos there. On an unrelated note: I am severely tempted to 'translate' "Kumada Great Circus" as "Beary Great Circus". ./cough
