As for the other stuff, the only pieces of additional equipment required are the component to HDMI converter and the PS3 component cables: Component to HDMI - video: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011406&p_id=4631&seq=1&format=2 PS3 component: http://www.amazon.com/PS3-Component-AV-Cable-Playstation-3/dp/B000MIXFWA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321996790&sr=8-1 But you won't be able to get audio on whatever screen you're displaying the game on with just a video converter. The hauppauge will capture the audio just fine. For audio, there are things like this: Component (RCA) to SPDIF/Digital coax - audio: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10423&cs_id=1042302&p_id=8127&seq=1&format=2 -- does not come with the required coax audio cable. Alternatively, you could get an HDMI splitter and some sort of HDMI to component converter: HDMI splitter: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=109&cp_id=10113&cs_id=1011306&p_id=8204&seq=1&format=2 HDMI to component converter 1: http://www.amazon.com/ViewHD-Component-Converter-Support-Surround/dp/B004F9XVBC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1321996887&sr=8-3 (not sure if this is lagless conversion or not) HDMI to component converter 2 (HD fury 2): http://www.hdfury.com/products/hdfury-ii/ (any of the HD fury series should be fine) As far as HDMI to component converters go, I think only the two I listed are worth looking into. Most other converters do not center the converted image before sending the video through to the display, and the Hauppauge doesn't correct for misaligned video signals itself, so you end up with randomly cropped footage if you use other converters.

Hm. If you can hit him with one rep crouching, I don't really see why two reps wouldn't work. You get more time to smack him when he's crouching, after all, and I don't think Tager gets pushed too far away from one rep.

As long as you don't air summon at that specific height/angle from Platinum, you're pretty much okay. If she has time to run up and Momo you, then she has time to run up and 5C/6A/j.C/etc. you, too, which means you've done something wrong. In general, the match is probably at least slightly in Rachel's favor. If Plat gets missles, bat, or (to some degree) cat hammer, she can make the match a bit more even in neutral, but she really has very minimal answer to Rachel's particular brand of rtsd/zoning. The problem with the Rachel v. Plat matchup is that Platinum is very good at applying continuous pressure, and if she gets in, she can stay in fairly well. Once the flow of battle turns against Rachel, I'm sure everyone already knows, Rachel has pretty mediocre answer to extended pressure... unless you count mashing 2C, which really isn't much of an answer. It's equally bad for Platinum if Rachel gets her cornered and applies heavy pressure, though, so eh.

It's a combo that works on standing opponents. I think it also works on Tager crouching? Can't recall if that's right or not, though.
-
Somehow I'm reminded of Huey successfully landing a ~4.5-5k corner combo with Mu in beginner mode by mashing buttons during our beginner mode battles.
-
My Ragna is leveling up! I have learned PENTA-INFERNO DIVIDER combos. So goood. In unrelated news, I want to learn Jin and Lamda, too.
-
It's okay. Feel free to leave your lolis with us.
-
I main lolis. :V Also, I'll probably end up swinging by gamecenter randomly during winter break (maybe around thanksgiving, too), but if these are going on, I'll try to make it. I might just play gundam all day, though. XD
-
Rachel, yeah. Rachel. ./cough
-
Aha. I'll be around during winter break, too, though I don't know if I'll have reliable means of transport to gamecenter.

Rachel (aruken?) vs. Arakune (kimuchan) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8bAFTgqypE#t=3m15s Nothing really spectacular here.
-
Ah. So it's not that the hitstop is locking him into that guardpoint, it's that the Tager's only defense against Makoto beating him up is to keep running? lol, man.
-
Yeah, it's not anything super amazing, but I still enjoy hearing chiptunes. I have no idea idea how to make these, so they're always impressive to me. :P If you ever do make one, post it here~!
-
No, she has 100% combos. She's just resetting you constantly. Good catch.
-
I think someone also told me that Unlimited Tager can get destroyed by Makoto if he runs, because apparently she can just keep him in hitstop forever or something.
-
Yeah, high B tier is still within the range I'd expect her to fall at. Whatever the case, she's definitely not S (lol). One of these days, Tager will truly be S tier. I mean, not even unlimited Tager is S tier, is he?

Don't think I saw anyone post this version of Active Angel: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm15979478
-
Still reasonable against a lot of overheads, so if you're careful, you can still make them fear mixing you up. :P But yeah, I guess that fear factor's not as prominent anymore. Oh well.

Personally, I don't consider that to be a very important nerf, in that it doesn't really affect her play style. All I do with the move in CS2 is spam-abuse it and troll people, anyway.
-
Good God, Yuumura called Kaqn out on every wakeup. And yeah, Rachel has to reset a tad more, but only if you actually went for the sorta troll extended combos. For the most part, there wasn't even a reason to do those in CS2. The main nerfs are slightly reduced damage output, a harder-to-confirm lobelia counterhit, no multiple 4B gatlings, and no 6B jump cancel.
-
The majority of Rachel's nerfs don't really affect her gameplay much, which is why she's still viably A-tier. Her tools are basically still as strong as ever, and she got better oki. The nerfs do make extended 100 meter combos pretty meaningless, but I think most people (who aren't me) didn't really use those combos anyway. Meter management and all. The new Tager looks soooo awesome. That 4.5k non-magnetized fatal combo is pretty amazing, and the 150 meter combos are amazing, too. I'm sorta sad that I can't just troll people with Tager anymore, though... actually gotta learn combos.

No link, it was info from AXIS. The only link I'd want is the one to the love tiers, anyway, because that sounds amazing. Also, I'm pretty iffy on Relius being S tier. I don't think he's bad, but I'm not convinced he's overwhelmingly strong, either. Going to have to wait for the game to come out stateside to see, I guess. Every tier list is a troll list, as far as I'm concerned. Nah. Well, I guess I don't know what 4chan lists are like, but if the DL tier list thread wasn't closed after 20 posts or so every time, we'd probably see more retarded crap here, too. In fact, even in those 20 posts that get through in every thread, there are people who already start trolling. I find it entertaining, but eh. And I'm standing by Rachel probably settling into A-tier. Her tools are likely to keep her around there, as long as they don't get nerfed into oblivion CS1-style. The only reason I can see her not being in A-tier is if the majority of the rest of the cast somehow gets projectile invuln (ie: Platinum's pogo, Hakumen's Kishuu, Ragna's Carnage Scissors) that actually means anything worthwhile against zoning (scratch everything but Kishuu from that list) and can get in on her for free.
