  1. He was trying to link the same video Geno posted. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFIGI2F3HvE Was probably going for something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFIGI2F3HvE#t=0m48s (linking to 0:48 in the video).
  2. Well, a link would be more than enough, too. xD I guess I could stop being lazy and just go do another Pixiv search for Tsubaki art, though. I like your animations, in any case. :P

  3. Kurushii, your avataaaars. Where do you get these!? :psyduck: Could I ask for your current one, at least? :P

  4. All characters: 5b 5cdc 236b dash 6a 214c j.b j.c j.b j.c j.236a - ~2.6k - 2.7k 3c characters: 5b 5cdc 214a 6c j.236c j.2c - ~2.4k - 2.5k //knockdown with a pole for cancelling into 214c 5b 5cdc 214a 3c (1 hit) 236a 214b 3c (1-2 hits) 214c 3c (pumpkin oki) - ~2.4k 2b/5b characters: 5b 5cdc 214a 2b 5b 236a j.2c - ~2.2k //knockdown with a pole for cancelling into 214c 5b 5cdc 214a 2b 5b 236a 6a 214c j.b j.c JC j.b j.c j.236a - ~2.7k - 2.8k
  5. Very solid Rachel. Sorta sad he lost the first round, especially after the whiffed 8d HJ.
  6. Need to correct what I said. Should be 3k - 3.5k, not 4/4.5. The starting level 3 j.2c adds a fairly signifcant amount of damage, but you really shouldn't expect to land those very much. 6a is still pretty good. It's crap compared to what it was before, so it's weird getting used to it. 5b 6a does link, but 5b isn't exactly a common anti-air. :P Also doesn't work on all characters anymore, probably because of 6a's nerfed hitbox. The 6a seems to whiff on Tao, for example. 5b 6a 5b JC j.b j.c JC j.b j.c j.236a does something like 2017 damage.
  7. 4k-4.5k is basically a given if you land a 6a or 5b (on airborne opponent) on them. You only lose the opening fatal counter damage. Significantly more common than a lvl 3 j.2c fatal counter.
  8. It works on all characters. It's a variation on an old aerial combo that works in both CT and CS.
  9. Double 236a works during frog iirc (3c (1 hit) 236a 236a) and definitely during BBL. Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Grounded 6c into frog doesn't do anything that 2b 5b wouldn't, except pick up otherwise difficult to frog characters and deal more damage. Also, I didn't know which characters it did and didn't work on, so I can't say much about Noel, Carl, or Nu.
  10. Other than the last part after the lvl3 j.2c, I can confirm that the rest works on the entire cast (even Noel). Should be 5b JC j.b j.c JC 2d j.2c, though (or j.2dc, possibly; I can only do it the first way), and I believe it bounces as high as a level 3 j.2c. You can also insert a 6a before the BBL, if you'd like, but I can't say it'd add significant damage (more likely than not, you'll lose damage in the end). Edit: I'm stupid. It's 5b JC j.b j.c 2d JC j.2c. I knew I had something wrong, but I couldn't remember what until I actually went and did the darned combo.
  11. The combo in the 3rd video is pretty awesome and hilarious. Elevator combo indeed.
  12. Worth pointing out that 3c8d 5cc does not seem to combo normally. It worked in CT, so I assumed it would work in CS, but I wasn't aware that 3c recovery was longer in CS. Edit: Forgot to mention that it does combo if you catch them in the air (from a 5cc wallbounce, possibly), but I'm unsure of the timing or specifics for that. It's in one of the vids somewhere.
  13. It... does, but there's virtually no reason to do it in CT.
  14. Double jump or double jump cancel, I believe.
  15. It's Erushii, I believe. Another video of him. He pumpkin summons and spams C lobelia to stay offscreen to win his Arakune match. I don't recognize the Carl player. Sounds sorta like 'Ikena' or something, but that doesn't appear to be a well-known name, so I may be hearing wrong.
  16. As Geno mentioned, the pumpkin may have hit before Rachel IB'd the nail. That said, she still blocked a projectile, so I was expecting it to vanish after the hit. Also, against Carl players who haven't adjusted to the new game, yet, it's not too hard to win.
  17. But even then, you'd think the pumpkin would disappear, wouldn't you?
  18. Probably should've said 'damaging' rather than 'beneficial,' huh. It's just a bit interesting, since you will occasionally have the option of starting a combo from 2a (countering a slow move, backdashing, etc.). Not useful as a mixup option, though, outside of 5a/2a spam. @K2: Ah, yeah.
  19. ...j.b j.c JC j.2c - good luck doing anything after j.2c without a pumpkin or frog nearby ...j.b j.c JB j.b j.c j.214b - pumpkin to catch the air-tech. not quite what you want, though. ...jb j.c JC 2d j.2c (level 3) - they won't hit the ground before teching, though, iirc. still gives you time to summon a frog or pumpkin Or you could sacrifice a bunch of damage to do 5cc after 214c, but you might as well have just gone for a frog combo, in that case. It's actually more beneficial to start with 2a into 2b, if I'm reading Spark's proration data correctly. :8/: Feel free to check my math (and my logic, as I might be misunderstanding the chart): 4b 5b 5cdc 236b... - 2714 dmg Strip off 4b for... 5b 5cdc 236b... - (2714 - 600) / 0.9 = 2348 dmg Tack on 2b for... 2b 5b 5cdc 236b... - (2348 * 0.7) + 360 = 2003 dmg Alternatively, tack on 2a 2b for... 2a 2b 5b 5cdc 236b... - (((2348 * 0.84) + 360) * 0.85) + 150 = 2132 dmg Of course, it could've always been that way, and I just didn't realize.
  20. The real problem with all of Rachel's combos, at the moment, is that they're hard to start on moves that don't prorate like crap. 2b isn't exactly a great starter, unfortunately. Expect to lose a few hundred damage in that combo starting on 2b instead of 4b, as 2b has more proration and less damage. :/
  21. Yeah, it was missing the 5b. Fix'd. I blame the fact that I hadn't slept yet when I made that post. :P
  22. BnB: 4b/2b 5b 5cdc 236b dash 6a214c j.b j.c JC j.b j.c j.236a (~2.7k dmg)
  23. Pumpkin disappearing on IB means that, probably, the only way it stays around is if you've hit the opponent before his/her projectile reaches you and you block. It's hard to tell in that Bang video, but the Rachel hits him with pumpkin and frog at around the same time that she blocks.
  24. Was it actually confirmed that fatal counter had any effect on proration? Haven't really been paying much attention, but last I'd heard, it was only +2 frames of untech time on the move and its followup combo.
  25. So much red, haha. It doesn't look too bad, though. It's mostly just damage. Thanks for the numbers.
