I remember testing it a lot and finding I could punish ragna's dash cancels every time, before he could block or inferno divider or anything. I might have fucked up big time testing that though, I guess.

Good Ragnas like Kaqn are fun to watch, but yeah, he's probably the least interesting character, main thing nice about him is pressure string options. I don't see why former Guilty Gear players play him instead of more nuanced characters. also why do ragna players dash cancel 5d so much and why do i never see it punished with a jab, that shit is unsafe if they didn't worry about scaring off people who play ragna because he's relatively simple, i'd say make him like A.B.A., revolved around an altered blood kain

Thank you very much. I'm confused about something, though. So, fire arcana makes charge 5E/2E unblockable, but I thought charged 5E/2E were already unblockable, though I see it called "Guard Break" instead. Is there any practical distinction between the two?

Does the Sacred arcana have any passive effects? Wiki doesn't say anything about it. It seems a bit underwhelming, though I suppose the defense up ability and the 236E are nice.

For future reference, people should bring their own controllers, especially sticks, just to make sure you have something you're comfortable with~

Niice! This is great since I won't be able to host or attend this saturday. However, I'll be up for hosting(or even just attending, naturally) saturday the 16th and saturday the 23rd, so we have straight 3 weeks of dallas meetups coming up at least! Good shit. Going to update front post to reflect this. Weekly is what we've been doing and will probably continue to do unless some people start hosting on weekdays or whatever. Also, naturally people can do more meetups if they're willing to go places like Tulsa for that oklahoma meetup. Also, so I know few people here are up for KOF13 when that comes, and the same goes for AH3, but who all is interested in MvC3? I've been getting more excited about that as time goes on, especially as I see obligatory things like glorious astral vision resets and whatnot. lmao i do not like konoha and dorothy's designs, did not expect you to like them, whatever works~ Button layout feels natural, yeah. You get used to the Arcana button pretty quick..it's pretty much just a "command normal"/non-character special sort of thing, think of the dust button in GG. Homing takes longer to incorporate into your gameplay but it works.(And can be used quite proficiently as some of the fights in those vids show) IIRC in ah1 the two buttons were the same, context sensitive, very obnoxious setup. As for Angelia, do you mean gameplay wise or character-wise? I haven't watched much footage of her at all so I can't comment on gameplay, but she's definitely the most loli of them all.(Eko/Dorothy/Lieselotte kind of compare in age but eh) You probably wanna edit that last part of your post to be safe. I think my main thing is I already have trouble processing options in a match already, and carl is extra difficult due to nirvana, even if carl is rather dependent on her and his range is short and nirvana is slow. having fairly poor reaction timing doesn't help, rofl Was john one of rave's friends?
