Eh, I don't think there's a point to taking (pseudo-)fetishes that seriously. I have no problem playing Bridget, Ash Crimson, Mai, Zangief, or Jin, despite only identifying sexually with one. I used to be really annoyed at Makoto, thinking of her as furry pandering(and not thinking of Taokaka as such because of the difference in tails) but then I realized I actually had no reason to give a shit, despite how..embarrassing most furries are, so I don't care anymore. I still think they should give her more clothes around the waist, largely for aesthetic reasons, but whatever. Real talk: If Arcana Heart 3 was a game of furry characters(with a handful of non-furries like AH3 having non-moe, non-loli characters) I'd still want to play it badly. I also don't have friends who I'd be embarassed to play any of the aforementioned characters around. If there was a fighting game full of grandma fetishism, then I might for that, but we'd all probably find it way too hilarious to be legitimately embarrassed. I also think "glorification" is too strong a word for this. It's sort of like when people call something "exploitive of females" when it has one sultry women among several women who are fairly badass. I reserve the word "exploitive" for things like 19th century industry, or Samus's ridiculous heels in Metroid: Other M. I'd find "glorification" more useful for a variety of biased historical texts or news media outlets, or maybe games like Grand Theft Auto/Saint's Row. Even with GTA/SR, I don't actually give a shit, because I have no issue distinguishing fantasy from reality, and the same goes for most of the game's developers. Besides, what if someone took that and switched it to, "You beat up the glorification of lolis," as opposed to participating in it. While Morrigan and Felicia are not my top DS picks, I prefer them to Talbain. He sort of bores me gameplay wise and doesn't excite me like other "manly"/"wild" characters might. Hsien, Donovan, and Huitzil are who I'd really want from DS.

However, If you notice, in a lot of combos he transforms into wolfform and back quickly for a quick burst of momentum. Wolf seems to be able to airdash close to the ground, too, so that+his wolf command throw could mean he has some nasty mixup. His combos seem to take to corner a lot as well. Fairly interesting, but I'm still hoping that Platinum will just blow me out of the water, mechanics wise.

Shadowlan is $6 an hour..i'm assuming per person. If we had 6 people for 3 hours, that's $108. If it's not per person, it's $18 for a 3 hour thing, which is somewhat reasonable. Meh.

Eh, I just assume it's a normal mistake. Besides, we got Makoto and all the other stuff earlier. Despite Valk being cooler, I'm more excited about Plat because she's more likely to have crazy mechanics like Robo-ky, A.B.A, etc. Although, despite not having a nice rekka or teleport-dash like slayer, judging from that recent Valk vid, valk might have good potential for resets, and an instant overhead that he can combo into his Dandy super. His wolf mobility seems really good, too.

Btw, if you're watching ah3 footage and seeing a sort of golden shield around someone and them dashing, they're guard cancelling into homing dash, which can be pretty wicked sometimes when you do shit like guard cancelling against a long range poke and command grabbing them. Heat use is pretty high in this game, since when you use a level of heat, you're merely putting it on cooldown.
