I think it's important to realize Jin's not an amazing character, but has all the tools a player could ever need simultaneously. When a good player uses Jin, it can be hard to deal with, but not because his 6B is good. Lol.
-
Lack of matchup experience, or Tetsu did in fact use the highly risky set ups to make his 6B mean something because he's a good player with good reads. But also, I've found that a lot of Japanese players simply do not take advantage of how ridiculous IB is in CS1 (And I do believe the current IB ruins 6B completely, in my experience). The ones that do win. Ah, and Fumo plays Arakune? It's harder to mash with Arakune because his normals are so ass. Also, when the pressure is on, sometimes high level players can fuck up, or second guess themselves.

In japanese tier lists, there is no order in tier. Ragna would be third best, in that tier list, and far from unplayable. Don't worry, Makoto looks retarded in CS2. Who needs a balanced game when you can pick the best character and beat a lot of people easier, anyway? sG that's a pretty terrible example, because you can't mash out of Daisharin mix up, and it's highly difficult to even reversal out of Daisharin mix up, and ON TOP OF THAT, she's covered by the staff. AND, it's 4 frames faster, and she doesn't jump off the ground.

Bitch please, people get worked up over what I say, not the other way around. I can't make a post without that shit getting quoted thirty times and sent to the national newspapers.
-
Gee qwerty, it's a shame you're not actually good, because you think about how to play quite well. :toot::toot::toot:
-
Yeah. I'm not going to argue, BBCS has some serious "Some characters are more balanced than others" going on right now. The nice thing is if you get good at the right character, you can decrease the bullshit a lot (High low? fuck that I'm going to reversal when I see you twitch because I'm Tao/Hazama and I have the best metered reversal ever). Anyway, I'm glad you can see what I mean. A lot of people would have actually tried to tell me I was wrong, and that one or the other is in fact better. Also, your comment on mixup is valid too. Good stuff.

That doesn't change the fact that it's just different at all.
-
Why is it desirable to play a game where you get knocked down and suddenly you're trying to block shit past human reaction level? Fuck that noise, acting like it's somehow more professional to guess than react. It's just different, don't be stupid.
-
Kind of agree with Qwerty, Jin's 6B is pretty so-so. I can 5A post IB Jin's 6B whenever I feel like it, on reaction. Also, after I OS the grab tech (If I do feel un-confident in a grab tech), I can usually double up OS a mash out for if he threw the 6B. It's as slow as most overheads that have problems with getting mashed out of, it's understandable it has problems with mashing out, like qwerty is saying. To get it to be problematic, Jin's got to do a lot of fancy, often risky frame traps, as those are the only ones that set it up well.

Hey man, I'm sorry, this is going to be incredibly brief because I'm going to be heading to bed. 1. If you're having difficulty approaching, watch high level Bangs play (Dora, Nezu, Satoshi) and see their approaches. You can use the methods they have of getting in to inspire you to create your own. Be creative. Try to avoid "Dnails > air dash" in most matchups, but sometimes it's a really good idea. Also, air dash > instant A nail is a good approach in some matchups (Hakumen, particularly), but it's kind of gimmicky as you have landing recovery. 2. Again, watch good bangs play. Recognize what they do for blockstrings, emulate it, and create your own twist. Bang's blockstrings are legendary once you figure it out. 3. Bang's wakeup game is total shit. He does not even have one reliable reversal (Daifunka is too slow, Ashura is not instantly invulnerable, steel rain loses to reactionary grab, 6D gets mashed out, 2D and 5D both don't start first frame) except backdash, and his backdash frequently loses to meaties and is irrelevant in the corner. Sorry to break it to you, but playing Bang you really have no choice but to block on wakeup. Learn how to use barrier and IB to make their strings less dangerous after you start blocking, and save meter for Counter Assault if you're having trouble. 4. "Mash 5A" is kind of more of a stab at me than anything, because I have based most of my defensive game around it (and people have cried foul beecause their blockstrings suck)(Double note; a lot of Bangs, myself included a long time ago, would press 5A whenever they didn't know what was going on, and sometimes get paid for it, resulting in rage). Basically, on defense, 5A is almost always his best interruption move, because it is very hard to low profile and starts up SUPER fast. But it's not invincible, so it's still really hard to use to mash out of smart blockstrings. Takes a strong read and usually an IB, but if you pull it off regularly, you can make it look pretty broken. It's also an oookayyy anti air and a good footsies tool if used instantly after a dash. 5. Only learn combos that matter. At max range, you need to know 5B 2B 6C j623B 5B etc to be able to pick up the combo; crouching is 5B 2B 2C d2B 623B etc, and so on. 6. Use your barrier gauge sporadically. First, you have to be able to really block, to use it decently at all. Then, try using it at random times, or when you think they're mashing on too many mids, to push them out and not let them reset their pressure.

A food based fighting game. A good example is Scotch Vs Sourdough.

Well honestly, I in this case, because if it, then there's reason to be

Nate, it actually matters on a media website. Media websites really have to be very, very accurate, or they won't be around long. Even if it was an honest mistake, it was still front page on a very new, relevant game. You get it, right?
-
You gonna be okay over there SJ
-
But you didn't say doujinshi fighter o-o Anyway, it doesn't matter to me, I can just understand why people were upset. EDIT: I'm sure that Chun knows more about doujin fighters than anyone else here :v::v::v::v::v::v::v::v::v::v::v::v:
-
Well just be more careful, and definitely don't be mad at the people who were offended. I personally wasn't in any way shape or form, but "Doujin fighter" is a pretty steep undercut if anyone is a huge fan/developer/etc
-
Lol. Well my comment on IPW was very tongue in cheek. Also I don't think you know what Doujin means, considering what you just said. EDIT: oh, but you linked it with the wiki.. Well then.. you know that Doujin doesn't mean what you said?
-
Can you fix it? I can kind of understand why people would be up in arms about the error lol
-
It's based on reads. If you see your opponent doing the same thing over and over again and it's working, you have to do something to beat it before you see it. Let's say you're playing Hakumen. Your opponent is spamming jabs. This is like.. ideal. Absolutely any one of those jabs can be IB > countered for the next one thrown. You have to see the future before it happens, chances are if you're losing to jabs you're unable to do that.
-
People just want to pretend CS2 will be very well balanced, Makoto included, even though it obviously looks like that is not the case.
-
Hey spirit juice I heard you were too scared to enter a tournament with your terrible ragna
