  1. Bolded is misleading, there really should almost never be a small hole. Although it's interesting, as Rachel you could DELIBERATELY eat a cloud then wind away, since in any other case Rachel's gonna get set up and bug oki'd. Lol. Something to think about, I guess. Definitely doesn't factor out 70-100% curses though.
  2. Tao's AA is really, really good. Fast, two AUB hits with air invincibility. Nice.
  3. And don't forget that Hazama has a command grab that makes even the cat chair a worse reversal than it already is, and her defense breaks down even further. Luckily, only Japan seems to use it! Oh, and with Jayakou, he actually can kill all characters in 2 BnBs, assuming he has the meter for it both times. Jayakou combos can go from 4k-6.5k, dependant on starter and fatal. So if it's a reversal, you die fast.
  4. Yeah, but I wasn't on there til I added me. Lol. Also; putting out the fire around all seven dangers is indeed all now Also; Yeah (= good anti air) There's even a beer you'll his aggression
  5. Koogy, we might have an extra spot in the Norcal room. Talk to TaoFTW?

  8. I will, definitely. If HFA is at EVO, but doesn't stream, I'll be like "what the fuck man"

  9. Yeah you don't like BBCS The whole internet knows
  10. I will :] I'll give you a birthday shoutout on the BBCS EVO stream, assuming HFA sets it up. :]

  11. Thank you :] A weird number of people have July 3rd birthdays.. Dabbit's born today too. O_o

  12. Thanks man :]

  13. My own thoughts on the above: Taking a break is good. Playing a different character will condition you to turn off every time you lose.. it's not a good tournament mentality. When you lose that first set, you can't just say "It's over", you need to get the counter download. Learn from it is great advice, but you can do that without auto-losing. Switching your playstyle should be constant. Your opponent should never understand what you're going to do, unless they can't stop it and you're abusing that. BLAME SOMETHING ELSE?! NOOOOOOOOOO. Take accountability and improve. :c Facing a CPU will never help. It has none of the honest oki or playability of a human opponent, so it conditions you into bad habits and convinces you blockstrings should be airtight, which isn't even always a good thing.
  14. I'm abnormally young, don't worry. :v

  15. Happy Birthday, Dabbit. You have an admirable day to be born on. We'll have to have some manner of birthdicial celebrations some time. :v

  16. Who the fuck necros a thread that's 10 months old just to post "this works well"? O_o
  17. Good info.
  18. Gashoukyaku fatals? Actually I don't even know which move Gashoukyaku is. The one that came to my mind is his DP, is that it?
  19. Which posts, I could try to explain them for you/be proved wrong With how much I play and watch this game, I like to imagine I do actually know a lot about it, but there's definitely room for error. And I promise you, I do understand what respect means to fighting games.
  20. No, it still really doesn't mean anything. Are you saying I don't know what context is? My definition of context in this case would be taking the things I've said online and using the things I've said offline to compare (IE at that tournament we were both at, when I said "Man, I'm terrible at blocking", and "Thanks for telling me to be more patient qwerty, it helped me to win", I would hope and pray that you would put that before what I say to the internet, being something like "Yeah I'm the shit and the best player in the world, Japan doesn't have anything on me")
