  1. Problem is that GG has no online, and thus less people are actually committed to learning the game if they have no one to play it with. If Arc Sys just basically released GGAC+ for the PS3 with netplay and changed nothing else, I'd fucking buy it. And I'm sure many others would too. (Though I do have GGAC+ for PS2 still lol.)

Though I'm glad Felicia is in, being the Felicia fan that I am, I do think that other Darkstalkers chars like Hsien-ko, and Jedah would be a nice addition instead, because of their crazy gameplay styles. Come on, stop using Morrigan like once, she's basically just another shoto char. You know what I really want to see? Demetri with his Midnight Bliss in this game. THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES.
  5. Easy to IB parry Tsubaki, she's got ridiculously predictable blockstrings. Also, if you can't catch Tsubaki, you're doing it wrong. She's charging in the air? 2D or j.B. Makoto's got the mobility, and you'll be punching blind chicks into the corner in no time. Just watch out for Tsubaki's shield charges and aerial dives. Other than that, this matchup is very much in Makoto's favor. You do like three times as much damage than Tsubaki on average.
  6. I'd be all for a special cancellable 5D if it keeps its CS hitbox. I swear, 5D's hitbox in CT was so retarded. I'm glad they changed it in CS.
  7. Either that or vary your timing on using 214A. It really depends on what your blockstrings look like and on how well the opponent's reaction time is.
  8. If you do 214AB on a Tager that's 360ing, there's a good chance that the 360 will auto correct and grab you. I really wouldn't recommend using 214AB unless they've been conditioned to not 360 during gaps in your blockstrings.
  9. I dunno Axis, I say it's even. We may have the damage and corner pressure, but you have to just IB our terribly predictable blockstrings and 360/720 us to death.
  10. Use it in the corner, not midscreen. In the corner, the can't back dash away. Midscreen, you can use it, but you gotta be fast. Use it only once or twice midscreen and then start baiting backdashes.
  11. Lambda 214D-C is a free BBS. Also, j.2C is a fucking godsend in this matchup. Use it on Lambda wakeup after a combo and she can't do shit. It beats her 2C and Gravity Well, clashes with 6A, and is safe on block and even IB, I'm pretty sure, if you follow your j.2C with a 2A. I used to hate j.2C and now I love it so much.

  14. I've been told by Severin that Lambda 6A does indeed clash with Makoto j.2C, so no free anti-air. He does advise, however, to mash 5A after clash.
  15. Cookie, Makoto is like F-tier in an online connection of less than 3 bars. She's so free. I am disappoint.

  17. I think after IB it's still safe, not exactly sure. I do think Makoto 2A beats most of Lambda options even if IB. And with 6A, it might still clash, needs someone to test to be sure.
  18. Someone give this man an internet. Tager sucks because of how his playstyle is. One mistake and he'll be easily overpowered, so ASW likes to play it safe and keep him low.
  19. But they're nerfing Noel's drive even more, with less invincibility. Plus in CS 5D was like the best way to get off a combo. Doesn't make much sense for what they're doing now. Also, I forgot Noel had a j.4D, lol. Never seen it used until I heard it being mentioned here. Chose Noel in training, pressed j.4D, and bam, hi there move I've never ever seen before. O_o
  20. Putting some advice for you Lambda players if you ever fight against good Makotos, lol. Makoto is zoned very, very hard by Lambda... until she has meter for BBS. Once she does have 50 meter, be careful, because she can BBS you as you poke with swords. Sure, it'll probably trade, but Makoto will get hit for like crap damage while you eat a giant fist and allow her to rush in and apply pressure. Honestly, the funniest thing that happened against a Lambda was when I BBS'd when the Lambda used 4D... the sword was right over my head during the whole super animation and only hit me once the giant fist came out. We were like IMPENDING DECAPITATION, it looked so funny. Makoto 3C goes under many pokes, like 5D, 5C, 6B, and at certain places can avoid a tk Crescent Saber. However, you can easily remedy that by countering with 5B, 2C, 3C, etc etc on reaction if the Makoto is throwing out 3Cs at random. Makoto has to basically predict your move to safely 3C, so try to be unpredictable. Also, Makoto 3C is safe on block and beats almost anything Lambda has after that with 2A. Not sure if Lambda can counter poke with her own 2A and score a trade, hasn't happened to me yet. If you use Spike Chaser a lot, Makoto can fire her projectile and cancel it. Careful of 214D-C, because Makoto can either projectile you during your startup for a free FC combo, or BBS you. However, cancelling regular Spike Chaser with Projectile really works in your favor, since the ball won't hit you after the cancel and you're free to poke with swords after that, so really, you have to watch more for when you use delayed Spike chaser. Also don't run it after Spike Chaser if the Makoto isn't jumping... chances are they'll parry it and catch you in the follow up D. But really that's only if they don't projectile or jump after Spike chaser, since she only has those three options. Also maybe someone can find a counter for my corner strategy oki vs Lambda. After a combo into DP ender, I always like to jump and j.2C Lambda because she really doesn't have any answers for that, at least not that I've seen. 2C gets clashed, and Gravity well doesn't help much. I basically have a free j.2C that will either hit and I can go into combo, or the Lambda will block it and allow me to apply corner pressure. It looks really good, but I want to know if Lambda can do anything counter it. >_> For an FYI, BBS does have some invul, but really like only a few frames. It's iffy, I've wakeup BBS'd and beaten a Lambda dash- in 2B, but also been 2A'd out of wakeup BBS. It just depends on your timing and if you're lucky or not, lol.

  23. Pot has stagger into Pot buster combos and comboable aerial Pot Busters. Imagine if Tager could combo into 360A, lol. Though Pot busters have damage scaling, and Tager's throws don't.
  24. Everyone's bad against a good Eddie, lol. Also I don't think Ragna will go shit tier because of this. He just lost his herp derp combos, that's all. Now people are gonna have to learn to PLAY him, like how CS Jins had to adjust after the herp derp that was CT Jin.
  25. Sorry bro, I'm more of an offline person now that I have a scene. Online fucks with my gameplay so much, it's not even funny. Makoto online is a joke. :/ But maybe once I get college breaks I can throw down with you for a while.
