Boi, play GG more. Also good stuff, it was fun playing you. The reason I came to this event was because it was so goddamn close to my place, like less then half an hour away. I'd gladly go to more events, if they're within an hour away lol. I do hope to play you and the other guys again, though. It was fucking fun as hell.

As for Assist characters, here are my top three, favorite three and worst three. Top three: Alcon (Fucking great attack, good stat boosts) T-elos (Easy link attack and holds them in place? Yes please) Fighter Roar (Easy link and good stat boosts) Favorite three: Saya (Sexy attack and character, has a chance of both Essence and poison effects) Koma (Great link and Luck support) MOMO (cuz it's MOMO
)
Worst three:
Henne (weirdest hitbox ever. Half the time it'll hit and the other half it won't)
Feekleid (Bah, weird ass link in the beginning of the attack)
Weissritter (Weird ass beginning link) -
I think the hidden boss is that woman who Alady and Neige talk to in the beginning, the white hair person (who, incidentally, I thought was a guy until I saw boobs). I'll go back to her on my other save and see if that's true. Some more story bits: Remember when you had to fight the last boss from EF in EXCEED again? Apparently Alfimi (in her own game) used to be sort of a puppet for the Einst, and she was fused with an Einst who looks exactly like the EF final boss. That's why she's so disturbed by the appearance of that Einst. Also, there are so many references in EXCEED to other games, I wish I could understand them all. The best part was when I was randomly putting assists with characters to see what they would say. I put Saya and Xiaomu together, and imagine my surprise when their intro was an IDOLMASTER reference! Xiaomu said "It's Shura's Idolmaster, Xiaomu!" and Saya said something about the Idol project, lol.

I dunno why KOSMOS was hard for me to use. I had her attacks as Thunder Sword > Valkyrie II > S Sault > X Buster > Dragon Tooth. She had problems against Heavy characters, I remember. Though maybe it's like how you thought Alady and Xiaomu had the hardest attacks to chain, while for me they were with Suzuka in how easy they were to chain attacks with, especially vs heavy characters. Alady: Kishin Renken > Haou Kuuen Kyaku > Kishin Goutetsukou > Haou Ryoushou Kaku > Kishin Ranjyuugeki Xiaomu: Hakkin Tatsumaki no Kata > Suiren Shigure no Kata > Nittou Togeyorohirame > Senko Youjutsu Ryukoranho > Kimonfuuji Hatenkou

Who was the hardest boss for you? I bet it was Mark Hunter. God, his attacks were bad enough, but combined with three Katanas?! I lost three characters in one turn, and only survived because the last Katana decided to attack individually, letting me to switch a character to guard. If she had done her multi attack, I would have lost. Plus, Mark's theme is goddamn annoying. I don't even know why he attacks you. Something about Bounty Hunters and how Haken is one too, or something. (Sorry for all the posts, stupid character post limits.)

My ranking for the playable characters from best to worst is: Suzuka (COM support + great spirits, fast F gauge gain, best multi, super easy to juggle attacks, breaks shields easily even without a shield piercing attack, is sexy) Alady = Haken (damage; Alady has his max F gauge spirit and easily juggled attacks; Haken has great attacks and high COM) Xiaomu (Barrier and Alt overdrive, easy to chain and juggle with attacks) Axel = Kaguya (Love and great attacks) Aschen = KOSMOS (Aschen has good attacks and damage but meh spirits; KOSMOS's good spirits contrast with her awkward attacks) Reiji (decent but nothing too special) Neige (
)
God, Neige is so useless. She's so bad. Even her support attack sucks ass. -
My endgame stats where that everyone was around lvl 62. My last boss team was Suzuka, Axel, Xiaomu, and Alady. Game time was 54 hours. Max damage was 111244 dmg, and max hits were 401. I have to say, KOSMOS isn't as useful as she was in EF, though maybe that's just me and how I used her attacks. What I also noticed was the apparent lack of weapon/armor upgrade shops in EXCEED compared to EF. EF gave like a bazillion new weapons/armors and EXCEED just gives you a bazillion useless accessories. Also there appears to be a hidden boss like in EF. but I dunno where the hell he is.

Oh, and the Katanas you have to fight, the white hair girls that are extremely annoying as fuck to fight, apparently they're from Namco x Capcom and are clones of Saya, which is why Saya joins you so easily once you beat her and the other harpy woman. She doesn't like the bad guys using those clones of her. Though I can't really see any resemblance between them, cept for the swordfighting style. What's also interesting is that SRW EF and EXCEED continue the stories of Reiji, Xiaomu and Saya from Namco x Capcom. In NxC, at the end, Saya asks Reiji to kill her after some heartfelt speeches and he shoots her, but she says that they'll meet again someday. Cue EF and their meeting once more, and then EXCEED with the Katanas. Pretty cool, I have to say.

Welp, that's what I got from the game. Now that I played it and seen the massive upgrades in graphics and gameplay, I don't think I can ever go back to playing EF. I'll just replay it again once my Japanese gets better, lol. PS: Suzuka's multi overdrive is possibly the most awesome overdrive ever, in terms of presentation. So much dancing and bullets, it's so sexy.
Aschen's multi is pretty awesome too, not to mention Alady's. Aschen plays with mini gravity balls and Alady punches enemies into mountains and makes them explode, how is that not awesome. Reiji's seems weak, but that's because it can hit four enemies, unlike everyone else's multi overdrives. -
Also there were certain parts that were hilarious in the game (ones that I could understand or infer), like when before they go to the final boss area, the group suddenly decides to go to a hot spring. Everyone's excited except for Roar, because he realizes that he can't take off his armor. Also the whole snow area and the fact that the girls (namely Kaguya and Neige) are wearing like nothing and they are freezing their boobs off. cont...

Axel apparently regains most of his memory and talks about androids and the W series. In Axel's own games (i.e. the other SRW OG games) Axel was kinda a jerk and hated androids. He hated this one android chick named Lamia, who Aschen happens to be an expy of, and part of the same series of android. I mean, when Aschen was about to go code ATA, Axel remembered (sort of) that Lamia had gone through a similar scenario before and the only way to stop it was to activate code DTD. So he reenacts the exact same sequence to save Aschen even with his memory gone, lol. Anyway, in the epilogue, he asks Haken about the W series and if he's really W00, and Haken goes all "yeah, but who cares." And Axel has a change of heart and decides to accept androids, or something. cont...

The epilogue was kinda ok, a lot better than the last game's at least. From what I could understand of it, Cleo treated everyone to dinner (and sweets, of course) and MOMO liked the cake so much she brought some of it home to share with Shion when they got back. It was hilarious too because KOSMOS was asking how the food was and T-elos interjects something about "We're androids and we can't eat food, what a fucking waste of time." Reiji, Xiaomu and Saya's departure was too gdlk. First they're all "Hey, we don't have to be enemies anymore." Then Saya, being Saya, says she'll still mess with Reiji and they have an epic faceoff. I want that Reiji vs Saya pic as an avatar or something, it was too epic. cont...

So Wolt boi I finished EXCEED. The final boss was indeed laughable. He has all normal attacks and no supers, what is this. Anyway, some thoughts. Xiaomu is actually not as useless as I first thought. Her Barrier spirit is ever so useful in boss battles where they love to spam conditions, like fucking Pete Pain and Lok. Also, her Alt overdrive is actually goddamn useful in boss battles, because it's the only way to actually put status on bosses. I've used it to inflict stuff like Stun, Darkness, Paralysis, Slow, etc. I Slowed Pete Pain, and it was so easy to defend against him after that. I even Paralyzed the final boss with it and got him to waste a few turns. Xiaomu is definite boss team material, lol. cont...
