Well, that's a nice surprise, I guess, English translation patch with the Library Mode included? Hmm, well...Before we go nuts, we gotta see proof first, screencaps and all. @_@

I assume there's no patch for the PS3 version? Will only be able to check it later. And it's too soon for the PSN update, anyways.

Why not also include PS4 and Vita versions too? Since no one mentioned it either. But I guess its X1 for now. Still waiting on the proof though. If anyone has an X1 w/BB:CPE and willing to share the hopefully good news.

When I turned on the X1 version, there was no prompt for an update. Though my copy is physical, not digital.

Library Mode in English just guaranteed my purchase. I know such a small thing shouldn't be what makes me buy, but the absence of it in the original English version of BBCP really left a sour taste in my mouth. This more than makes up for it, all is forgiven.

Thanks for the screencaps Braids, do you have to change the language in the options menu or the game simply reads your system language?. I hope they do this for PS4 too.

Don't you mean the entire PS family so far even? (PS3/PS4/Vita). But yeah, kinda surprised here for the English translation update to be there so soon...

I said PS4 because I play the game on PS4, but yeah, english for every version of course.

I'm curious why only the digital version for Xbox One got the update. I didn't even know Xbox separated digital and physical like that...

Sorry for not replying for a while,I was at work, but do you all need a screen shot still?

When I booted up the English version I had to go to the option and change it to English, but once I did everything was in English and all the hints I unlocked were also there as well, so my story mode progress, gallery progress and online stuff was all still there but in English.

It's really the full game because I have two Blazblue games on my Xbox One now and I have to select the correct one.

Makes even less sense, but I guess that at least gives a plausible explanation for physical not having it, as it'd effectively be a free game if it's redownloading a digital copy of the game in English while one would have their physical JP copy.

2016..... for arcades or for console?. I like tag battle if they do it like in DOA, you pick 2 characters and you can do some special moves using both characters.

Tag battles, as in... I stomp you with Terumi... And then I stomp you with Hazama? My body is ready. Yours is not.

I want Isuka-style battles with total chaos on the screen. (where you can stomp with Hazama and Terumi at the same time). Those two options are just boring.

Tag battles sound fun, though if I had to pick, I'd go with the more Tekken option. If only because I want the duo to interact with each other when tagging in. Imagine a Hazama/Ragna for instance:

 

Hazama: You're up King Siscon.

Ragna: I'll kill you later.

 

Or maybe some v-13/Ragna:

 

v-13: Give'em hell Ragna <3.

Ragna: Creepy as always.

 

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. My only concern is the "flashiness needs to be cut down" remark. But, you're ASW! Flashy 2D combat is 50% of the experience and 100% of the reason I like you over say Capcom.
