KonannFriends Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Yeah I seen. Orange did so well against kokonoe but he seemed lost at neutral against kagura. But this was day so no worries. Plus him and other guy seem new to the character. As far as I know the current Noticeable Mu-12 are. Eta H.H. Orange I haven't seen any of hh. Eta looks like he knows how to play but not sure how to use new 214 Really hoping to see Seriwaza he's my favorite.
bakahyl Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Another small nerf would be the loss of the spinning state on counterhit 5c , but it's a minor loss because Mu gets 5c>6c even on standing opponents An odd thing that i have noticed Orange placed 2 charged steins during OD. Hakumen hitted Mu and interrupted out of her first one laser, but 2nd stein still fired afterwards
KonannFriends Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Woah.. nice catch. I didn't even notice that. I wonder if it was a glitch or something?.
Zeromus_X Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Like 25 minutes of Mu training mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wCQy307xZc&t=25m35s The return of 214D loops?
KonannFriends Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 4k off a 2b? Damn mu looks good.. not only that but it sets 2 steins for set play? That is Eta/Heta? BTW so if you see that color you know it's him.
bakahyl Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 I didn't think about it before (i was amazed on how fast the recovery was )but her drones might be a lvl 2 projectile based on that Jin's ice wave super (which is a lvl 2 projectile, which according to my old cp1.1 tests and Jin's DD was able to beat Azrael's phalanx ,Tager's spark bolt and Rachel's Tempest Dahlia) didnt destroy the drones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U6Z4Xiy0j4&t=12m22s
KonannFriends Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 So maybe your right. Im sure they are projectile property. Im glad to see this. Also in OD are all steins charged steins? Off topic but anyone got advice on how to deal with Noel 5c with Mu-12. I guess the move has a lot of active frames and it hits Mu's extended hurtbox on 5c? But yeah. I also will say that I don't approach the MU very well. I try to poke but I think zoning is best choice and wait for them to whiff a drive.

They are projectiles because they are able to destroy Izayoi's sonic sabre in the old famitsu videos before and Azrael is able to growler them No, I think that i have seen a non charged laser during Mu's OD before If you see a Noel player throwing out 5c alot: yomi Mu's 3c>Noel's 5c at the right spacing, because her 3c 's hurtbox doesnt extend . Which also leads to nice CH 3c combos
pochp Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 more jbbs notes of interest : air throw route midscreen : dash 6a 6b 2c 2d j.c j.b dj.b j.c j.2c land j.c j.2c. The guy then says that you used to have to 2c 2d sj.a in cpex, so the fact that j.c works there means something changed that we don't know about yet. corner throw combo for high meterless damage (not caring about oki) : Throw>SoD max>2C>5D>2C>5D>JC>JC>J2C>J6D>J2C>land6C>tokotachi>5D>4D>6C>tokotachi ~4000 damage
KonannFriends Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 From what I've seen her combos do huge damage in the corner. Wish I could GIF that 4k off 2b meterless. Though we loss strong reward off Counter hit 5c it's yeilds the new reward of creating large amount of space with 5c 6c. Letting you set up a charged Stein to aid you in neutral. Im not sure but from what I seen. Mu mostly dominates in the corner but the but the players I seen weren't neccisarily mixing the opponent up. Its like the Japanese players refused to block and kept getting hit. Aside from that week one has just ended so better routes are still to come. Charged steins are God? Paying attention to Stein placement in neutral will be important I think. But I was thinking aside from drones being a straight out projectile; it can be used to cover several options ↘top left↙top right ⬅low right. ( go place in training mode if too difficult to visualize.) Imagining mu-12 on the left this would cover any ground approaches your opponent would make so you then would only have to worry about their aerial approach and how to counter. In a way It works out better that drones don't track the oponent because the opponent can't simply Dodge or airdash over them. Because they will shoot it different directions. As long as the move keeps it's non existent recovery it will be great.
DaiAndOh Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 The thing is that her midscreen bnbs seems to leave Steins pointing nearly straight up...a bit unfortunate there. But yes, even I can see the meterless corner damage is going to be nuts...many options for routes too.
KonannFriends Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Man I don't know if y'all actually use mu-12 in cpex but charged steins are a lot more useful in match ups / against players where the oponent is playing super safe ( double jump barrier etc.) I think I'm going to start using them more than regular.

Is it supposed to be jump cancel > jump c, or is this one of those "jumping c, land, jumping c" deals? Either way, I couldn't even get the first one.
Zeromus_X Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 A-Cho Mu vs Hazama. CT seems to be sped up, 3C > CT connects now (around 24:30). Wonder if any worthwhile midscreen routes can come out of that.

I don't know for sure because I'm just reposting the information, but based on the height you get after 2c 5d 2c 5d, it's most likely jump cancel j.c double jump j.c

As expected, Mu looks very strong/solid. Ending corner combos with full SoD > 4[D] > 3C to knock down seems really good.
KonannFriends Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 This is really good footage. Mu looks really good. and your right Lava has te best grasp on her. He drops combos a lot but he still wins. I don't remember him playing mu-12 that well in cpex though?!. Also in over drive and I did not see normal steins I'm sure they are all charged in OD. If someone thinks other give me a link pls. Did anyone see those 5c , 6c charged Stein hit, ikatuchi confirm. They we're nice af
C0R Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 H.H. said her normals are pragmatically unchanged. 214d is similar to habakiri in it's long startup/very fast recovery. Seattle R1 is getting CF something this month, expect more info from me soon.
bakahyl Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 A very good buff is that a counterhit SoD lvl 1 is a fatal counter with a midscreen wall bounce
alden.jacob2122 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Did the timing for lasers to come out change? Seems to fire a bit faster so I want to confirm. And is it just me or do charged steins have less recovery? There were times when I thought Mu-12 deployed a normal laser but it was actually charged.
Zeromus_X Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 This combo vidya is worth a watch: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm27903928 Uploaded by maguro (I think)
bakahyl Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 The most interesting about that was (something that i have seen before on an earlier video after midscreen SoD RC that 6c can hit) is that 6c can hit of the ground Her corner damage is high 3k+(maybe even 3.9k when going for max damage and no oki) damage combos from 2a starters, around 4k damage from 6b starter or 3.3k when using SoD twice (maybe a better oki at the expense of damage with the 2nd SoD in the middle of the combo), almost 4k with a throw starter or less with the double SoD, 4k+ with 2b starter, 6k damage with DD ender using 5b starter Odd thing on that video was in 3:24 and 4:08 Mu used the new drones in OD (which has a 2nd hit explosions in OD) and immediately uses her omoikane DD ender and at the end of the combo one stein was not destroyed from the drone edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpGRsbXbb4s
KonannFriends Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 If you look closely he uses 5d before supers. Heta has been playing on twitch streams a lot. And unlike in cpex the setplay is real. He was using ender's like j2c jd j2c oki. that left 2 steins out to fire. And the opponent kept g to jump out but it wasn't happening. But the real interesting thing is that he was using different corner routes against relius the prior day. Either way. I think it's safe to say "this characters a problem". Which is best!! Also new fireball look really good. Though it looks Like it doesn't have much blockstun beta was using it to extend blockstrings. Looks extremely plus. But maybe Japan doesn't like jumping out.
Lelouch84 Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Mu combos look sick as hell. I'm so hyped for CF.
