Vulcan422 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Black Blank blah-blah-blah [Zato] Are you kidding me? lol I'm thinking the same thing.
Tsuki Garyuu Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Same. I mean...you don't simply release that kind of name for a metal song publicly...
D.R.F. Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I think if anything the GGXX OST sounds rawer-- it loses a lot of elements that were in the GGX arrangements. For example, a lot of the extra keyboard details and guitar fills in the original version of Burly Heart:http://youtu.be/dD9b20J2DGk are lost in the GGXX arrangement:http://youtu.be/NgWYhbTy9qg It tends to make certain songs more plain as a result. I guess having actual drums is nice though... The drums being drums are why I like the ggxx soundtrack more. Other than the chorus, GGX burly heart doesn't feel as full
GVGguy Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Holy freaking shit, the title to Sin's theme is godlike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHWjWtwrunk "Just do it"!

king of heart Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Just wanted to give a feedback on the Xrd vocals collection CD. It's amazing especially Big Bang Sonic.
werewolfgold Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I knew that "Dandy" was going to be somewhere in the name of Slayer's theme.
Tsuki Garyuu Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I wasn't one to care about BB's orchestral epic side pieces, but boy did I like the ones in Xrd. May actually listen to them more than once.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 You mockin Ameterasu's descent? for shame. And yo, where the fuck is Big blast Sonic. It was nowhere in the game.
Fame96 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Someone uploaded big bang sonic to youtube. It's amazing! Worth the extra $20 for the LE
Vulcan422 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Guys. If you thought SIX-HEROES was already godlike, you have to hear the live version. IT FUCKING TRANSCENDS GODHOOD.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 You're doing nothing cleansing my hype, now I gotta find it .
SoWL Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Time for random track title comments no one cares about! Junk Yard Dog - yeah, I like how it's a mirror of Ky's theme, and it's not like it doesn't fit the track itself. I mean, Sol is very easy to make a theme for, and all you have to do after that is pick a very Sol title. However, it's still not a Queen reference, so I can't help but feel a bit sad. Black Blank blah-blah-blah: Don't you even care about your theme's title? A drill. A human chair. Millia. A shark's jaws. Thought so. Engage - oh come on, the track is so much deeper than this. I could accept this title if it was fast-paced and a bit more militaristic (and heavy, of course, since it's still Potemkin), but it's slow, multi-layered and even lyrical to some point. Pretty much the only part of the track that fits is the intro, so too bad the rest of the track is quite different. Flash Hider - wait, is "Hider" even a word? What does it mean, that Chipp likes to hide stuff? Or that he can hide in a flash? Then it's quite fitting for him now that he's an aspiring politician. An Engrish title for a weeaboo's theme, how fitting. Destructive Goodwill - oh, I like this one a lot. Most people focus either on the crazy or the kind side of Faust's character, even though he's still got both of them in him. I mean, otherwise he couldn't be in a fighting game. This is one of those titles that make me appreciate the theme itself even more. A Slow Waker - no reference to March of the Wicked King, boo. I suppose it reflects Axl's laid-back side, though I'm not sure why Ishiwatari picked this particular way to do it. As it is, I could almost mistake it for a Bedman theme. Almost. Call Shot - eh, a bit cheap to pick a name based on the fighting style alone. At least the theme itself is a good fit for Venom and it has grown on me very quickly, so I can still live with this. Jack-a-Dandy - I just knew they're going to put "Dandy" into his theme title this time. While it's nothing as flashy as Slayer's last theme, you can still associate it with Halloween and vampires, which is something you couldn't really do before. And luckily, the track itself doesn't make you think of Halloween by itself, so it's not similar to Rachel's at all. Dirty Drive - yeah, this one's good, too. Not too obvious, fits I-No and the theme itself, and can even be read as an innuendo if you squint. My only gripe would be that it doesn't have any deeper meaning or character reflection, but you can't win them all. Diva of Despair - aha! I recognize that reference! Not too flashy or deep, but then again, neither is Ramlethal. Pretty much the only thing we know about her is her association with the other Valentine, so I can't really ask for more here. Just Do It - yep, it's a Sin theme alright. Who needs some deep meaning or complicated word combinations when you can just, uhh, do it. Marionette - groan, they really did throw Elphelt's entire aesthetics out of the window with this one. Yeah, sure, it fits her backstory and the track itself, but now the only way for me to make an association between the track and the character is to fight her a whole lot - and even then, I'm not going to feel happy about it. Reunion - pretty bland and predictable, but I'd like to point out that rather than focusing on the conflict between Sol and Ky, it is now about the bond between them. That reflects the change in their chemistry quite well, so I still like it. The Spider's Thread (Do You Know?): No, I don't. Well, you did before. When Life Comes - uhh, to an end? I like that it can be interpreted in so many ways, as it's the theme for four different characters, so it means something different for all of them. Bump - just like the theme itself, it's somewhere in between Fatal Duel and Nothing Out of the Ordinary. Thumbs up. Overall, there are some head-scratchers, but most of the themes got it pretty good in terms of names, I think.
Tokkan Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 "Flash Hider" is another name for a Flash Suppressor. It's also a misnomer, because it doesn't actually hide the flash. Also "hider" is a real word. It's rarely used outside of a phrase like "he's a good hider". http://www.arcsystemworks.jp/bblive2015/ "BlazBlue Music Live 2015 in Zepp Tokyo" announced. Appears to be a live concert dedicated entirely to BB and BB alone, no Guilty Gear like the "GGxBB Music Live" concerts.

Zedar90 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 From Blue Radio: The sound track for Guilty Gear Xrd sign will come out in the beginning of 2015, and will have art drawn by Ishiwatari. Blazblue Music Live 2015 in Zepp Tokyo on March the 29th 2015.
The Badgerine Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I wonder if Xrd's soundtrack will be released on iTunes...that would make it way more convenient for me to purchase.

If they're only gonna do Blazblue, they better throw in some curveballs like Oriental Flower or Marionette Purple or something.
The Badgerine Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 BIG BLAST SONIC TEST DA HEARTBEAT IN YOU~
kosmos badgirl Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I think is a good decission to make a concert only for BB, too many awesome songs to split a concert between BB and GG, let's hope they do a GG concert in the future too.
Renvalt Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Not 100% sure if this is fake or not (the instrumentation SOUNDS legit) but someone *apparently* uploaded Leo's theme. I dunno how they did it, but they *seem* to have done so. Note the emphasis on skepticism. It's on Youtube if anyone wants to confirm.
Poultrygeist Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 It's fake, sounds nothing like Ishi's style.
Renvalt Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 It's fake, sounds nothing like Ishi's style. Good thing I went in with skepticism. Sad to be let down, but it sounds good nonetheless (even if it is a fake from some cheap-ass dweebus looking to cash in on views).
Tsuki Garyuu Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 That BBS video is down, but for now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EXpHO020D8 WAOOOO-OH WAS IT WORTH A NOTHIN'? WAOOOO-OH WAS IT WORTH A NOTHIN'? SHIT, REALLY DOESN'T MATTER! OOOOOOH STORYTELLER! God I loved this song during the stream. xD
