duuude, that's fucking awesome. I love it. I'm thinking player names would be better next to the burst icons though, so people can see the heat gauge.

Agreed. That, or just above the heat gauge, since the Super bars in SSFIV are in about the same position.

This is incredible! Great job, Paul.

Aight Chris took your advice, the names are placed right under the health bars and are a good bit smaller. Works for both SF4 and BB, I'll see if it works for tekken as well. I might mess around with it some more.

Just a reminder this is our last gathering before NEC, next week is obviously thanksgiving holiday, and the friday after we'll be at NEC. Whether you guys still wanna have a gathering that friday is up to you.

Is everyone going to be at Tension Pulse this saturday? By everyone I mean Paul, Chris and Jeffrey. I just want to know because I can't make the gathering friday. Either way I want to get plans finalized soonish. The first weekend in December is NEC so... Yeah.

Looks like I can make it to tension pulse Saturday.

I'll be at tech tonight with all my gear as well.

Real talk - Tension Pulse 2010 kicked ass.

Attendance in excess of 60 players, finals for all games live-streamed, and a 14-man GG bracket on top of everything else.

Big props to FunkyP for working the stream the whole time (over 8 hours!), US Gaming Arena for providing the venue and several TV's, and Alternate275 for making it all happen. Clearly some dedicated folks.

I had a blast. Looking forward to the next one. Good luck to everyone going to NEC.

Props to everyone from GA, who showed up to Tension Pulse! I finally got to get some BBCS casuals that I've been craving for, doing commentary on the stream was cool and it was nice seeing you guys again. I also want to wish you all goodluck during NEC too.

Okay so everyone knows that Min left USGA with everything he had, and then some, so basically he's long gone. I spoke with Britt Stephens, the owner of USGA, and he told me that he could give us the backroom every Friday night for streaming and gaming as long as we want. He said that we could run a plan where every Friday we meet up with the other Street Fighter folks who come in and run these gatherings, and at the end of the month we run a tournament for the games people want to play. We could do it like The Break Weekly's gatherings, you know what I mean? We could get a good turnout.

Yeah honestly we were talking last night (paul and I) about how cool the owner was being with everyone yesterday. He was super nice, even to the point of moving out those theater seats with regular chairs. I would be down to get something going like that however it's just not going to be better than free games at tech as opposed to 10 dollars or some fee to just play casuals. I mean I hate to say it but we could have ran tension pulse yesterday from tech for free.

Anyway what I'm getting at is tech is free, usga is hella expensive.

Key word is bi-weekly, this might go over better with the SSF4 community. If we could combine both communities for cheap bi-weekly streamed tournaments this might be a more popular idea. But real talk USGA is not gonna stop us from having tech fridays no matter the incentives or cost.

Also TP BBCS Grand Finals

I agree that it won't stop the free weekends at tech. However, I did speak to him about the gatherings. I can get the price dropped to 5 bucks, with an included meal combo. That's what he told me anyway. Overall we can do bi-monthly tournaments over there with the inclusion of the SF community.

This is Jim, one of the SSF4 players at GT Fridays. Forgot I had an account on here.

I'd be down with that, I can use the experience.

5$ and food? That sounds amazing actually. I'd just need transportation, but I'd be down for that probably monthly next semester.
