So, I started trying to learn Litchi's Itsuu loop between classes today. I really should have done it a long time ago. The 13 Orphans ender version really is stupid easy.

If we show up and spread the word to GG players, our resurrected scene will stay strong.

If we find more players and ease them into GG, the scene will grow. I'll keep doing what I'm doing and cross my fingers.

This week is Thanksgiving, so no gathering on Friday. GT has finals coming up - we're gonna be busy until December 20. I will try to get something together before the end of the semester, though. End-of-the-Year Party on Friday of Dead Week, perhaps (10 December 2010). Please RSVP in this thread whether or not you plan on showing up.

I'll go. We can get lots of pizzas and stuff.

Also, for next weekend (NEC weekend) Gamefest is going to be going on in Klaus on Saturday. I think because of how few of us there will be, John and I are going to go to that instead of meeting on Friday so we can beat scrubs and stuff.

I'd be interested in an end of semester gathering, as well. Also, be sure to bring your own setups to gamefest, as the only fighting game they ever have there is smashbros. It's what I did last semester, but I didn't know any of you guys then, so only a few friends showed up to play with me. I ended up offering the officals my tv to be used in the brawl tourney, as they only had two tvs there and a ~50 man bracket for singles AND doubles...

If you want, we can try to get a 1$ side tournament going for BB. That, and I'll be taking money matches from people I don't know methinks.

If you're down for trying to organize a side tournament, let me know, and I'll email the Gamefest people to make sure they don't have some kind of aneurysm because we're taking in money for it or something.

Chris, Paul, Jeffrey: Tad just called me to inform that he plowed into a deer hard with the car that would have taken us to NEC. He wont be able to make the repairs in time for NEC sooo... I really guess NEC is kinda out if no one has a car they can drive up.

a 14 hour drive is really brutal. I don't know about tackling that in one day, I don't want to go over my head, but I seriously have to go to this. I've been looking forward to it too much.

Haha I understand. I have been too.

Hmm, I dunno what to do about 14 hour drive except split it into two days.

Lemme see what I can do.

It's really best to just pound out the whole drive in one sitting if it's only 14 hours.

Did that for a 16 hour road trip a few months ago.

Just make sure your driver is always fresh, and to take rest stops when you need them.

Alright. I may go ahead and do that then. I hope my driving endurance can hold out, the furthest I've gone in one sitting is augusta. Maybe I'll ask my boyfriend for advice, he was a courier over the summer =p

When I said "the driver", I didn't mean that you should do it all yourself.

I meant you should switch drivers to keep your current driver fresh.

Happy thanks giving everyone and a very merry gran turismo for me, my ps3 has been on for atleast the last 26 hours

Oh and Chris, if you're not comfortable with paul or I driving your car, I need to know so we can split the trip.
I'm not comfortable with it, but I also don't want to get back home on tuesday or needlessly spend more money on a one night room. I have a week to warm up to the idea so I'll be fine. I'll burn some cool cds or something.

Paul, you should undo whatever voodoo magic you did to keep the stream on the front page of SRK. It's still listed for today =P

Also, I'm never going home without my stick again. I'm terribly bored.
