It really came down to the line, and I couldn't believe I kept it together enough to pull out a win. Your Tao is really strong. I couldn't managed to see your overhead coming no matter how hard I watched for it. ZONG_one - Yeah, that seems like a really complicated matchup, and I don't know either of the characters' tools well enough to know what you should be doing against Arakune. Good shit though, man! Your Carl is definitely fierce.

When I fight Bang I see a hand coming at me and I think in the process of a split second, "Oh, a normal fist attack, that's no big deal, I'm blocking low. I remember all these other normals from other characters that are overheads, they're all kicks. I'm prepared for this attack, no problem. Wait a second, Bang's overheads are regular fist swipes, oh shit! Quick block high!" and then I miss the block by one frame >.< Fortunately I can block low for one of Bang's other overheads, because Carl is so short it just goes over me

Shin ATproof Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Great tournament again! So happy that the turnout for GG and BB was bigger. Hopefully the low MB turnout was just an off day for most. I want to see that grow as well. Tell your friends, bring your friends let's keep it going! I wish I could have stuck around to see how the BB tourney ended up but I was running late as it was...by like 2 hours lol. Ugh...and for some reason I just couldn't airdash at critical moments to save my life Sunday, I have no idea why. Still, great games all around, loved every minute of it. Gotta give it up to Diar, very close fight with that Baiken mirror match. Hopefully I'll have a chance to even the score next tournament. :D Well, now is the time for practice and preparation for next tourney. So see, ya'll then...or sooner if some of y'all want to have Casuals at FFA or something...whichever comes first.
