Lil Majin Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 DO THIS!!! PLEASE!!!! PS3/360 GGAC+ would be BIG!!!
PkHYpeR Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Well it would be nice, IF it happened. But I'll hope for the fucking best! HEAVEN OR HELL!
blueNINE Posted August 27, 2009 Author Posted August 27, 2009 Meh, i lag online pretty hard in BB and in GG it would make me rage even more. Like you can FRC is lag. It would be good, but dunno. +1, this is a dogpile worth hopping on It might be easier said than done, though. I seem to remember hearing that Guilty Gear verifies its game state in a funny, extremely netcode hostile way. How about GGPO and STHD, DoomieJ? If they made it that good, I think netplay would be viable. And yeah, adding netplay might be difficult, but I think there's a good chance that it can be done. Also, even if, for some reason, netplay were not an option, these releases would benefit the community. Just think of all of those people with TE, SE, and PS3/360 custom sticks who aren't playing GG 'cause it's on PS2 and Wii!
KD Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Showing my support for this shit because I still want this bad. Should probably try and get some folks from Aksys to look at this lol.
Furok Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 /signed A ps3/pc version would be very nice. I don't have a ps2 or ps2 stick so I rarely get to play any guilty gear
Otakuchin Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 As an avid GG player. This would rock my foundations. If ST and MvC2 can get special treatment, GG can. Do this !
KA-GE-MA-TSU-RI Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 This shoud have been done when the game came out on the PS2, but better late than never I guess. It was even on the Wii which was a incredibly dumb mistake, so why not PC or the other platforms!!??
so moe kona Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 As a person who does not own a PS2 stick (or a PS2), I second this motion.
Coren Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Yeah that'd be cool, It'd be nice to be able to play people on the best coast without having to suffer hour long trips.
Darkonis Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Well let's see they've made the game on PS2, Wii, and PSP. It would be nice to see it on 360/PS3 but I doubt it would happen. It probably will with the next GG release but as of right now I doubt it would. I fully support the idea of releasing it for 360/PS3 though. What I think would be even better is just release it as a downloadable game like in the XBLA and whatever Sony has and with the downloaded version include an online play so that way it reduces the cost they would be paying to put it on discs, pay for shipping, and hoping it sells well. That alone would be IMO easier and a lot more cost effective.

If it was like GGPO, shit chya i would play it to the death or my next PS3 gets stolen. i am one with sticks for both, but i see where you are coming from. People dont wanna carry two sticks or get a converter.

The post has been edited to mention that specifically. Thanks. People dont wanna carry two sticks or get a converter. Word. That's what I'm hoping it'd be like. The custom that I'm building for myself will have support for PS2, PS3, and 360, but yeah -- not everyone dual/multi mods, not everyone has or wants to bring around multiple sticks, and not everyone wants to get a converter.
danceljoy Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I'm a bit out of place here but; Are there GG arcades in the US? Because we don't have them here, and that's what what I'm wishing for...
Kyosuke Kagami Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Second this idea. Kind of frustrating to not have anyone (at all) to play GG around here
Climhazzardous Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I agree, please help make it happen Aksys.
Nives Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 PLEASE AKSYS MAKE IT HAPPEN! this would bring tears in my eyes. i would be happier than if i was 6, came down on Christmas Eve, and saw Santa.
BANGER Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 I'm a bit out of place here but; Are there GG arcades in the US? Because we don't have them here, and that's what what I'm wishing for... Ye, my uni's mini arcade even has one. And signed. DLC like MvC2 would be awesome. All it needs is netcode. No packaging or retail bs, just advertise/hype it like hell on PSN/XBL and gaming sites. All the BB newcomers would also at least give it a look, since it's also made by ArcSys themselves. That means more fans and more competition (and more potential profit in future GG releases, heh). DO EET.
AleXander Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Just curious but was there ANY 2d fighter that had good netcode? Or was GGPO the only peeps that did it right?

A bit out of place, but it is related. There are some arcades with Accent Core, but very few, especially in the northeast. Over here, it is really just Chinatown Fair in NYC, as far as I know. The closest after that is in Canada, near Toronto, in an arcade called Lovegety. Just curious but was there ANY 2d fighter that had good netcode? Or was GGPO the only peeps that did it right? GGPO is good, 2DF is pretty good, and the game Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix has good netplay. Although I heard that it uses the netcode from GGPO...haha. BlazBlue also has pretty good netplay.
candydad Posted August 27, 2009 Posted August 27, 2009 Yes this really needs to happen!! give us Accent Core as a re-release or just a DLC with netplay pleaseeeee!
Coinage Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 it would be a good idea to put ggac on ps3 or even thinking of putting new GG in production
Kyosuke Kagami Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I don't think Arcsys would be able to release the full Accent Core PLUS pack on PSN or Live Arcade. It would be enormous for the standards of the games released exclusively there. However, AC by itself would be more possible IMO. And since it'd be focused more on online fights, I don't think anyone would miss Story Mode.
