I used to live in Dallas and it was pretty cool. I'm from Michigan and I play BB and 3s also looking to get into other games. I just wanted to know how the scene is in Austin and where are some reasonable places to live. By reasonable I mean affordable.

Like 600-700 dollars for a studio apartment.

Holy crap, those apartments must be like connection to mansions or some shit. Paying that much for rent up north, you better be living in a damn nice place. Also, Austin and San Antonio have the strongest players in Texas. Austin scene isn't huge, but everyone is active. SA scene, don't have much info on them, but they all seem cool. Dallas has several players, but none are too strong. Houston has... not many players, and only about 2 people come out as strong over there (Jan and Sam). Edited February 5, 2012 by PozerWolf
