yes bang does whatever he wants now. i think he is litchi and bang are both quite a bit higher then ragna. the thing is, bang was a worse character then litchi so it required a bit more skill to win with him in CT. after you get used to CS bang, the scariest thing to play aganist is an awesome hakumen. j4B took several games to get used to. on another note: poor tsubaki. from what i've seen it doesn't look like anybody is going to find a new more effective bnb for her ANYTIME soon

Well I think I mostly got the basic hand of the new Bang finally. Feels good.

Some new Dora content

Hmmm, I wonder what are Bang's true bnbs. They must vary too depending on position.

I like that 5B>2B>6C>j.D>6A>623B>d.2B>j.623B>5B>2B>air combo

Seems like the strongest air finish is something like jB>j4C>j4C>j623B, I saw him try jB>j4C>jB>j4C and the second j4C whiffed, I can't tell if it just ran out of proration or if the kick went over his head though.

J.C maybe preferable due to positioning of opponent. 236a should be able to work there afterward. And on Arakune (Tager in corner) j. C then 623b.

Bang's AA is 2D since it had a guard point from above like that and is fast enough. 5D's guard point doesn't last that long, but 2D really isn't all that great for anti-air. It's honestly best for Bang to just block it, but you can throw in 2Ds or interrupt with a faster attack if you can.

bang's anti-air is 5A when they're on top of you, 5B when they're out in front, 6C/2D when you're able to clearly predict a jump in coming if they're deep, and you see they've already started an attack, it is advisable to block as none of bang's anti-airs are true AA's in that they don't have upper body invincibility...but they almost seem to as they have fairly favorable hitboxes as such the latter 2 should almost always be counter hit, 6C if you're confident in your follow up, will get more damage, 2D can net you an easy 4 seal combo

Yeah, I'd emphasize the 5K damage super off 2D more than a 4 seal, especially now that FRKZ has overall taken the back burner.

finally got to play some CS Bang today. found a neat little combo off of 6A CH CH 6A, link 5B, 2B, 6C, j.D, 6A, 623B, d.6C, j.623B, 2B, 6C, j.C (3724 dmg) and groundthrow into corner -> astral is hilarious and really really easy lol as for BnBs, i was doing 5A, 5B, 2B, 6C, j.D, 6A, 623B, d.6C, j.623B, 2B, 6C, j.C. (30xx dmg, sorry i dont remember:() on standing oponents. I have no idea if this is THE BnB for standing oponents, but it did good dmg. There were two other Bang players at the arcade, both doing different combos for standing opponents lol. if this was already posted i apologize

A stronger BnB is

5B 2B 6C jD 6A 623B d2B j623B 5B 2B air combo

Hits about 3.7k

Ouch, mighty strong!

Remember, 6A (in my experience) doesn't seem to work on characters, 2b can sub. :HA:

Anyone else it may not work on?

the only character i couldn't consistantly do it on was Carl.

So wait, the 623b has to be in the air? Or is that for the higher damage of the air version if that is still present?

Multiple reasons:

1): j.623b does more damage, as you said.

2): same move proration mechanic in cs. You get more damage out of that combo if you use j.623b in place of the second 623b, as they are considered different specials.

What WUT said And what really pissed me off is when I found out about the same move proration, I was going to invent this combo, then Dora already had. That bastard is always 3 steps ahead of me.

Man, the newest Dora video goes from him "toying" with Yumura in FRKZ with j.B's in the 1st round to disaster. Loses 2nd 2A (hits) -> 2C (gets GETB'd) = DEAD 3rd Round Wins 4th GETB = DEAD 5th Round He also seemed to be doing 6D at the "end" of 3-4 seals which I haven't seen (I honestly haven't watched most of these CS videos). He was also doing some things I didn't quite understand or certain combos. Pretty good match overall though. And can a Mod delete that spam in the video thread.

steel rain block ALL projectiles in CS not just spark bolt in CT i used it to nullify lambda's swords by placing my self inside the rain, what an awesome discovery /sarcasm (really works though) tk astral is great on wake up, I also did 2D into astral but i got trigger friendly and activated it too early and wiffed. its sucks that you still have to sandbag a bit to get enough heat for the astral, but man its awesome.

After finally watching some of these other CS videos, I think I've found a Japanese Bang that actually plays my style. He uses Bumper patterns a lot and seems to like to mess around in FRKZ.

(It is an old video in terms of when it was posted in the General CS Video Thread, but I just now added it to the Bang Video Thread since it was a Nico Video that never got uploaded to Youtube.)

Match with Jin starts at 3:52, the match with Litchi starts at 10:35.

Or this one:

I'm sure this Yellow Bang is in some of the other videos that are in the thread, but this is one of the ones I've watched all the way through that didn't have Dora/Shadow or someone else.

He might have inspired me to rock the Yellow Bang instead of the Blue Bang once I get access to CS, but I've used "Galford" Bang since Day 1 for CT and the Blue Bang is pretty much the replacement color, so it will be a hard choice. Stick with my color or show respect to a player that plays how I play. Decisions, decisions, luckily I have a long ass time before I get to touch CS.
