bang“s new distortion is extremely addictive

you can combo that shit from just about anything bang has.

Tager is good. He has tools, and gadget finger. Also now since his 2C is an amazing anti-air with a fatal counter, you can't just stay in the air all day against him. Tager is a much better character this time around and will fuck you up. You really have to try against him. I haven't faced tagers as good as Mike Z in CS yet, but for the people I've played against, I've noticed a lot more 2C spam and yeah... I feel more comfortable staying back and using 5B...

Let me put it this way, I played a lot of Tagers, and almost never lost. Then I played everything else, and only lost/went even with the elite players (TaoFTW, Dabbit, Zong1, etc), and only those in the high tier. Then I played Mike Z and lost 75% of rounds or more.

But I learned that backdash will get you out of 95% of Tager's mix, assuming you input it correctly and he doesn't specifically punish it.

Yeah, backdash is CRUCIAL in that matchup.

If anything, that looked really awesome.

I've been going through the combos in the combo thread to make sure everything works and... 5B>2B>6C>j.D>5C>6A>623B>5B>2B>j.B>j.4C>dj.C Who does this work on? I forget who posted it, but the 623B appears to whiff on most chas.

It's a corner combo that works on everyone.

Ahh, that makes sense, thanks. Felt silly trying to do it midscreen. Must have thought it would work because of that similar command throw RC that works midscreen.

lols, i was so amazed by it working the first time i tried it out that i stopped the current game, and tested it out again to make sure it works:cool:

lol whats the dmg? also, this may sound a bit weird, but have any of you guys tried using steel rain after daifunka i do it in situations that i know i can eat a hit and if ashura won't be enough to kill, i can't remember correctly but i think they are forced to block the steel rain, becuz it doesn't combo, but its an easy reset and even if people use a shoryu they will be forced to block afterwords or might be punished if their shoryu isn't totally invincible, ex Hazama's super. ashura adds 500 600 dmg max to daifunka which is a crappy usage unless you know it will kill. discuss my nonsense :D

I do that all the time with Unlimited Bang and it works amazingly well so I don't see why not (though having 10 nails left when you use it helps :p). If you have enough nails, bursting guarantees them to get hit as well.

Ehh. I wouldn't recommend it against truly intelligent high end opponents, unless they are a character that doesn't really have a good way out of it (which is almost no one; Tao probably gets stuck or hit a little bit, Litchi is probably shafted *WHICH IS GOOD, something to think about*, and if you're playing a bang ditto, I don't know if they can guard point out, I think they can now in CS)

Oh, and on topic with "Bang does whatever the fuck he wants", I finished a match at the latest AI tournament with Ground Grab > Whiff Bnail > TK CNail > 5B > 2B > jB > j4C > j4C > j623B Afterwards, I was like "What the hell did I just do" The damage was crap, so don't even consider jotting it down. Lol.

They can 6D out of it.

They can 6D out of it.

Yeah, that's what I thought. So it's all your nails and 50 meter for either they hit you or you recover in time for one combo, I don't know. If it's the latter, good for finishing.

Well, yeah, I just mean if steel rain lag is so long that even despite 6D being so slow it still hits, then it's viable. However, if you ever steel rain Bang and he 6D's you can EEEASILY just RC jab on reaction to teleport :toot:

They can't grab you if they teleport further away. 6D hits far away, they dont need to tele next to you.:psyduck:

6D will get stuck, it won't teleport, then you get a free non purple command grab. so yeah bang is raped by this. the only way i can see them getting out is a a really "invincible" shoryu. oh, and never use steel rain againist hakumen ever, there is nothing good that could come from it

If you RC, you can dash-punish even a C, I'm sure. :yaaay:

Huey, that's what happened in CT, but now it lets you teleport instead of getting stuck in stun
