BladeOfJustice7 Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Combos? Just hit C in varying intervals. Never read anything so factual before:psyduck:
mAc Chaos Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 ZONG brings up a good point, though. We have a CT combo thread. We should have one for CS.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 No need, combos haven't really changed got longer cus now all combos end with either jc or 3c.
ZONG_one Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 No need, combos haven't really changed got longer cus now all combos end with either jc or 3c. I guess I will look at the old combos.. And trade 236A w/214A, and j.2C w/ j.2A?
Sophisticat Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 I suppose we could just use the old CT thread for combos. Amend the first post a bit and you got it. Combos aren't all that different, you just have to be aware of double enma combos, new 5c -> 5/2c links, new form of corner loop, new j.D, 6c, and Mugen combos, and the enders Blade cited. Otherwise, he hasn't changed much I don't think. It would still be a good idea to get this stuff into a thread since it is its own subject. And trade 236A w/214A, and j.2C w/ j.2A? Yeah, that too. I surmise placing old j.C into new j.2c will make falling.C all that much easier since you won't accidentally hit old j.2c now.
mAc Chaos Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 If you could elaborate on all that new stuff, Sophisticat, we can put it into a new thread. I haven't really been watching that many CS videos, so the only thing I really noticed was using 5A as an anti-air and the j.C loop ending in his new j.C. Everyone else who's been keeping up on CS should contribute too.
ZONG_one Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 One loan Carl player - Inspires change for a new tomorrow! On a serious note, subbing Hakumen seems a lot more interesting to me, now that I actually know a lot more about the game than when I played CT.
Dacidbro Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 One loan Carl player - Inspires change for a new tomorrow! On a serious note, subbing Hakumen seems a lot more interesting to me, now that I actually know a lot more about the game than when I played CT. It's really amazing you could get a loan in this economy But yeah, what the fuck is Haku board doing not to even have a CS combo thread, the combos have honestly changed a LOT. At the very least, a couple starters have shifted drastically (3C, 5D, etc) and jC > Gurren relaunch HAS to be noted.
mAc Chaos Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 gurren relaunch I don't think there are many Haku players who have access to CS yet... there's qwerty. qwerty you must lend us your power.
ryokoalways Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 If someone wants to put in the effort, by all means go ahead. And I disagree with Hakumen's combos having changed a lot. While not as simple as "add jC", it shouldn't take more than 1-2 days to pick up the combos, and another few days to get use to the additional frames on j2C start-up. Also, jC>gurren relaunch is not worth it outside of going for the kill. It's basically the same situation as blowing more meter after j2A (j2C) in CT, and similarly in CS. Either jC, land and get position below your opponent, or go a different combo for 5C knockdown. There are only a few situations where jC>gurren is required for knockdown, and those are usually due to uncommon launch starters.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 No need to create new combo thread, I've watched A LOT of cs vids, not much of a difference for haku, and lionel plays cs too along with jack. Not mcuh change in terms of combos and setups. All the vids I watch are mostly (95%) cs vids. The last ct vid I watched was sophis playing taoish. If it's REALLY that much of a difference we'll make new threads with cs' console release but I doubt that'll be necessary.
mAc Chaos Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Hey... http://s1.zetaboards.com/blazblue/pages/hakumen2cs It says here that 6A still has head attribute invincibility. Is that wrong or was everyone overlooking it?
SimpleKiss Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Hey... http://s1.zetaboards.com/blazblue/pages/hakumen2cs It says here that 6A still has head attribute invincibility. Is that wrong or was everyone overlooking it? He also still has akemetsu noted as a 720 motion. (it's a charge flash kick motion now.) it does have some invincibility still, for sure, but it's nothing like what it used to be.
SimpleKiss Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 It doesn't have any. Well shit. CS frame data needs to hurry up and be translated.

qwerty Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 I don't think there are many Haku players who have access to CS yet... there's qwerty. qwerty you must lend us your power. i seriously only play cs at tournaments anything you guys want to know i'll try to help with, though links to the raws are only meant for a couple of people right now (as there's only a couple of places to put them and one of them is a private webspace, can't be jacking up those bandwidth bills). i can tell you all right now though that 6A has lost all invulnerability. it can situationally be used as an anti air still because it moves your hitbox really far forward, but for the most part you have much better options at your disposal. it's still great for frametraps though, even without the 6B gatling.
