Gorehound Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Update on the extra BBCS cab at AI! It's actually inside a black Vewlix cab, looks all new and stuff. It's way better than the one they have in the bigger cab and the controls feel better.

When I was there Monday night it looked like a black cab, it must of been the darkness that made it look all black. Either way screw the big cab, the Vewlix is way better and I'm getting the hang of using Hazama now:kitty:

It'll be blue with white buttons and a black and white control panel stock. Hit me up when you go again! I need to work on some more combos with hazama as well..

At first, i thought the stick off cause I kept trying to do 6C with Tager but I was just having some scruby luck and was doing 3C instead... and it is a little cramped for 2 grown men to sit and play sometimes. but it can't be ALL good right? And for anyone who is out of the way for the Sunnyvale Golfland arcade, best time to go is early afternoon (so around 1-2 should be fine) on weekdays EXCEPT Wednesday. They have a promotion where you pay I think $15 and you get unlimited credits the entire day. Its a good deal, but it gets insanely crowded. There were at least 10 people around the game the entire day. but on other days early afternoon, its usually pretty empty so odds are, you'll get to play a lot. Obviously, avoid weekends too not cause of the crowd, but cause the little kids like to play too and they don't know what they're doing so its kinda hard to practice. If anyone wants to play me when i'm there, just look for a tall and quiet white guy playing Tager all the time. I don't mind playing people, I just don't talk much. But i promise i don't bite. Just shy is all. EDIT: Most of the players around there are UC students and they go back next week so it will also lighten up once the 4th of the new year rolls around. Should make it easier to get some game time in.

First time I beat your Ragna after you had like 23 wins with Tager, then you got revenge. 19 wins later and my one failed Ragna attempt in the middle, I out Tager'd you again. Man that was a good challenge. Hope I didn't upset you doing that. I always feel bad if I break someone's win streak. And are you able to use all the characters? you seem like the kind of guy who would just learn everyone for the sake of it.

Sorry for having to leave that last match I was playing you in. little family emergency I had to attend to. but i'll be back many times I'm sure. so we'll have our rematch next time we see each other. Hope I never have to play your Lambda though...I still have nightmares of how annoying Nu was since I main Tager. I actually only subbed Ragna so I had someone faster to play against Nu. Even then, my Ragna is still lacking a lot. I can combo easy enough, but defensively, I'm god awful with pretty much everyone. I play really aggressively in all fighting games. I just don't have fun unless I'm in everyone's face! And as for your main character dilemma, your Tager and Ragna are both pretty beastly. It took a lot of luck to get you those 2 times. so either of them would be solid choices.
