you know at least the charge that gives you one charge stock after a combo would be nice for her normal form. you could at leas continue the pressure a little bit after a combo and not be forced to retreat to charge every time.

also y doesnt jin get al of his 25% specials for abc and extra one for d, but tsubaki not?

kinda annoys me, but meh

@seyu: It's most likely because she's new so they weren't sure what would work and what would be okay. Jin had CT for them to figure out what to nerf/buff/add/etc.

but they usually dont care whats okay for unlimited characters. i mean rachel can summon her sword lilys all over the field while tsubakis hidden ower is to get hit pretty hardXD

jins unlimited was pretty cool in CT though, they couldve just applied the same to tsubaki.(and they had chances to test her in the arcades) well i wont understand what they were going at, but doesnt matter i guess

I thought you started to just talk about her character in general my bad. Then yea they should do more for her unlimited character but again that was just a partial list.

naw normal tubaki seems to be kinda bad. the unlimited version in comparison to the other unlimited seems to be a joke though.

i usually dont even use the unlimited forms exept for legion mode, still it irks me...

the fact that im kinda writing this in 2 threads now 2 btwXD

No, no I get what you're saying and yes it is pretty bad compared to the other unlimited characters especially Litchi and Nu HOLY CRAP LITCHI AND NU. :v:

This gives me deja vu on when Unlimited Noel came out and was shafted pretty hard.

Hmmm... so in the combo vid uploaded by ZenUnited I can hear her voice a little bit more. It sounds... surprisingly similar to her Japanese voice (if the music weren't blaring so loud) just in English haha.

I was also wondering if those combos could probably be used in an actual match? Oh here's the link for anyone too lazy to go to BB gen and find it.

Well, the first is just her general BNB with no charge. The second seems like good damage given 3 (I think) charges. Not sure how much she normally gets off 2-3 charges in that situation though (close to corner off 22d starter) so maybe Ginseng or Zaido can comment more on it.

the second combo uses 3 cahrges. and over 4,5k and wall carry seems pretty good i think. guess you could also get that effect with a counter 22C instead of 22D, but that would need confirmation

Ahhh ok. That's pretty interesting then. Here's to hoping challenge mode will bring some more of those combos and/or ideas to experiment with.

i wonder why i dint see that thing though. usually people just end that combo with a 214? and 236? even if they have enough charge for that ball...at least thats what i believe to have seen(edit: guess its hard to get that much charge...). still looks dam cool, esopecially with the dive through that ball...should have more practical uses though, like beeing unblockeble oder breaking 2 primers or something...tsubaki could need it.

It could be because it's kinda impractical or it's not too reliable to use. Most of the videos we see are from a tournament/ranbat kind of setting so I think the players would rather stick with something that has worked/better chance of working than trying something new and have a greater chance of losing.

I actually tried that combo, I couldn't get it to work on Jin, meaning it's character specific. I'm not going to bother, but I guess a bang-specific combo is nice in some cases :v:

It does work on Jin. Space your dj.C and delay your 214D to break the projectile after opponent bounces off the floor. Should work the same way for everyone else.

3 charge for 4400 that requires semi-corner situations. Not really worth it. The j.236D -> j.214D part doesn't work in midscreen unless you're kinda near a corner. You can get 4130 off 2 charge off an unblockable already.

... The part where Tsubaki "9sj.C 8dj.C, 236D delay 214D, dash 2CC" is a midscreen combo. Its more likely to fail in the corner because Tsubaki can't maximize 214D projectile break properly at double jump height there.

Its a useful combo if you want to blow gauge to kill, or work people into the corner while attempting to max damage.

Go ahead and do that combo if you want, but 3 charge for 4400 midscreen is :(
