5C has all the way better damage and proration, the thing is, it has 2 hit, correct me if I'm wrong but when the ennemy is too far only one hit is dealt so answer is : depend the situation.

By the way zakiyama always use the 5C j.C*n 2C j.214B# so am I lol.

I believe the proration applies to both hits...was that way in CT IIRC

It is more damage to sub 5C for 2C when you're given the chance, but 2C gives you alot more stability for the relaunch and the damage difference is minute (< 10).

at about 9:30 hazama does 2147B as part of a combo. Pointless/Flashy?

That one actually looks useful, because it's adding another series of attacks that wouldn't normally be able to fit into the combo. That and it does nearly 6k.

I might be wrong on this but I believe I see many hazama players do 2C(ch) 4D->A 4D->D (j.C)xn etc. etc. Although I wonder if there are better options than that.

Depending on the height, you could go straight to (j.C)x5 > 2C (when you land) then from there just hit the BnB, or do one of those super forward jumps (I don't know what it's called but you do 2147 to pull it off) > (j.C)xN and so on.

Hmm, I don't think that would work in most scenarios. 2C mostly launches vertically, not so much horizontally. That might work if you caught your opponent on the edge of 2C's hitbox though.

If Zakiyama BnB go above 4k he will probably go higher in his tier, closer to Hakumen imo.

the corner combo in the video at 9:30 is pretty cool, but during the one at 0:50, that rachel had negative penalty.

Yeah but really think the combo is rachel specific (maybe tagger also) just tryed to make a 623D 5C chain, don't seem to work unless you hit with a 2B before the 5C. So in corner it's something like 3C 214DC 5C 2C 623D (opponent in corner) 2B 5C j.C*n, but after that the timing is quite short to manage another j.C*n, it's really weird. Will have to work on that I think. Wonder if the 5C 2C 2147B is also rachel specific...

Yeah the fatties can be hit with 5C while they are on the ground and the others like Jin, Carl, etc must be hit with 2B then 5C. It should also work on Hakumen as well because hes a fattie as well.

Sorry to double post, but I've got a question. What's the best thing to do after 2C CH anti-air?

you can do 2c>(delay)4d~a>4d~a>jyakou>rc>j.6d>5c>2c(some characters dont need this)>4d~a>4d~d>air combo(~4.6k)

after the RC, instead of j.6d it's possible to use 214d~c, but i haven't tested the damage difference. you could add in 236236b after(or probably before) j.6d for extra damage as well.

Tested today situationnal combos near corner (back to the corner). jayoku (fc) > 6DA *3 > 623D > 2B > 5C > 214B# (5300 damage) 50% jauge. On Jin so I think it's ok on most characters.

Should have tried. When I hit with the first 6DA, he wa so close to the ground that I was about to say "fuck it I missed the timing" but I was just perfect :D Imma currently working on situationnal combos so I will try 4 times and confirm it ^^

Isn't it also character dependant?

No it can be done on everyone, just for some characters the spacing and timing is close to Just-frame levels.

Yes. And Carl. Only character I haven't personally hit 6d-> a x4 on is tsubaki. Because she and tager have aerial hitboxes that troll you constantly.

Fuck it, I think I could have done that during the match, I had the right timing from the beginning. Need 6500~ with 50% jauge in corner lol. 1k to go ><

I've been experimenting with the corner a bit. It appears Hazama can always connect 4 ouroboros chains without a fatal counter and 5 with it. (The 4D version of it at least) Has anyone experimented with RCing into ouroboros after a 214B chain? It might lead to some interesting results.
