bjholmes2 Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 For discussion of the Hazama vs. Λ-11 matchup.
BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 An early speculation on this match-up would 5.5 in Hazama's favor due to ouroboros, she has to keep him from using it otherwise he can get in close for a relatively good mixup against her and her weak melee attacks.
Dangle Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 bait her 5D all day, you see a 5D coming, j6D~D/C>free combo/pressure
Drill Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 fought a Lambda online. Won first round. She won next two due to fucking Act Parser spam. Any Advice?
Almadiel Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 The anti-air act parser can be stopped by a jab, or basically any other attack that isn't head attribute as she is totally vulnerable before the attack hits.
kazukifafner Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Yeah, Pulsar looks scary, but it's easy to interrupt if you know it's coming. Heck, a well timed 236C can work as well. Another good thing to remember is that, in terms of range, Hazama's chains reach farther than Lambda's drive. This is especially true when it comes to diagonals. Abusing j6D from a high jump isn't necessarily a bad idea in this matchup.
Drill Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Okay, still would like a bit more info on the Parser. Is she open at all AFTER the damn parser? And I mean both. Whenever I try to attack after it I just end up eating 3C or whatever. I'd just REALLY like to learn how to beat Lambda's that spam the C moves up close with a bunch of Act Parser BS in between.
kazukifafner Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 It's pretty much safe on block. B version has 0 frame difference between blockstun and recovery, whereas C version is 4 frames in your favor if blocked. You might be able to sneak in a 5A/2A if she tries to followup, but it's basically safe.
Klaige Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 If you see a lambda doing strings into act pulsar, jayoku that garbage. It's really easy to time and it gets you that fat juicy fatal counter on a character with a tiny ass lifebar.
kinker Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 you can use his backdash' invincibility to avoid a low pulsar with style. lol.
Overheat Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Lambda: 236A (30-38 frames, can cancel into throw or Astral after 31st frame) 236B (18-27 frames, distant dependant) 236C (30 frames) Her Parsers suck if you know the Lambda's going to use it. You can 5A/2A her out of it on reaction, if you have enough experience. If you block it, don't try to punish unless it's a 2A. 2A beats out Lambda's 3C. If you try to punish, be wary of Lambda's (terribad) DP.
Arifureta Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 you can use his backdash' invincibility to avoid a low pulsar with style. lol. And eat a heavy AA combo with the C pulsar.
PhoenixBR Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Mizuchi Rekkazan is really good in this matchup, it seems. Whenever you see them charging 214D up, it's possible to punish with it. Actually, I thought 632146C was a really crappy DD at first, but it's a pretty good projectile punisher.
Eclipse Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Oh, it's good for punishing so many things, when it's a close match. Works on Lambda's drives, if she's out of range. Carl, when he's controlling Nirvana, Jin's Ice Blades, the list goes on. Unfortunately, I try to Mizuchi Rekkazan her when she charges up for her long range distortion drive, and always get hit out. I thought I'd automatically be invulnerable all the way through. But I always end up getting hit out of it by a billion little swords.

It's nowhere near as good as Makoto's Big Bang Smash though, damn that's an annoying Distortion
ThatRandomGamer Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 I'm glad I found this 'cause I was thinking how the hell can I beat Lamda
LordSpectreX Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I have a problem with Act Parser C. I am 'able' to poke Lambdas out of it. Except during one blockstring. When she does 5DD -> 4DD -> Act Parser C. The blockstun is too long for even 5A/2A to come out. This is supposed to happen?
severin Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Just command grab it. +1000000 style points. Also, 4DD 236C shouldn't be that tight. Mash harder?
LordSpectreX Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I am. But at mid range, nothing beats 4DD Act Parser C. I've been in training mode for the last hour. Everything loses to it, except; 5A:- But I have to be lucky and spam it. And even then, we both get hit. 236C:- Works only a small number times, easier as you get further away. Jayaku:- Always. Lol. People say that Act Parser C is easy if you know they're going to do it. But all I find is few options to beat it after 4DD at mid range, and any non-heat options are extremely risky. Hell, even Jayaku has to be done instantly to avoid being counterhit. I.e. No hit confirm.
Fireryda Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 heres a good one.. don't get hit by 4DD.. it's like 20-30 frame start up and 40 frame recovery or something. at mid screen you should definately not get hit by it and it's an easy punish.
LordSpectreX Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 I didn't know you could do something inbetween 5DD->4DD. I know it's not a blockstring, but there really isn't anything you can do (like jump, backdash or ourboros). But apparantly there is, what is it please?
