qwerty Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 i wish i could be assed to care man. nothing against any of you guys; norcal community is great. this game's shortcomings and the lack of hype on a national level is more what's keeping me away from this game. i'm writing bbcs off as a total loss and hoping bbac brings back the hype we had when ct first hit while bringing the bb franchise to the level it should be at. until then, i'm gonna stick with gg and play other games.

Naturally the hype died a bit when CS hit arcade and not console, since so much of the USA can't get to an arcade. If YOU, one of the devoted, gives up, how will it ever continue hyping?

We are one of the main epicenters of hype for this game; if you've watched the delightfully awkward interviews on the Aksys youtube channel, SVGL has a national name; it's up to us to keep the hype going! If YOU, one of the devoted, gives up, how will it ever continue hyping? hype dying at arcade release is generally not a good sign. and honestly, ct hype died at console release. i hate to be a pessimist, but there's really nothing else to be said; this game was dead before it hit the ground. we'll have our year at sbo and a year of non-evo majors (in the shadow of ssf4, no doubt) and then we'll have a new game. and hopefully, that will be the game to put the bb community back on the map; cs has already missed that boat.

FLYING CATS. And as usual, good games guys. After the tourney I proceeded to lose to Scott and Jeff playing pink Ragna. STOP DPing through my blockstrings!!! Seems like more hype is made in team battles than single ones, lol. P.S. qwerty, just leave the game alone if you believe it's not hype. Just don't spoil the hype for the rest of us; this game feels pretty balanced, I feel that it'll hold up after console if Greekletter-12 isn't broken. That's what broke CT after all. ~Chun
