Its not so much the proportion that matters but the resolution of it. I have a makoto picture that 1200x800 at a resolution of 300 that looks amazing when expanded a bit. But I other pictures that don't look so well when they have a resolution of 75. So try and find something when you open of photoshop and look at the dimension that has a higher resolution, it will expand and look better. But overall its just how much grainyness/ slight blurring you want. IF you want a crisp picture find something big, if you don't mind some blurred colors blow up an image. Its your stick go nuts.

I'm a poor photoshopper so hopefully other people can give better advice.

300 ppi (pixels per inch) is ideal. Just do the math from there.

^ PPI was the word I was looking for. But its labeled as resolution in photoshop image dimensions

Ooooo I really like, along with Kaigu's crazy pink dream stick. All of these customs really tempt me to get an arcade stick just to customize it. @_@

Here are mine. Nothing flashy, just changed the parts to Sanwas for the SE sticks. The TTGL Girls stick stopped working on me during a tournament, so kinda bummed about that one.

I don't have any new stick pics yet (hopefully by end of october) but i do have wiring i can show

also like sol, i'm redoing my first stick to include PS2 support (also the case got all scrached up cuz i didn't clear coat it)

PS3 TE dual mod with madcatz fight pad (hakami's boards now has a ps1 pcb sandwiched in there somewhere for ps2 support)

XBOX 360 TE board with RJ45 mod (cakewasbanned's boards)

madcatz 4716 with voltage divider on chimp mod (my board :3 ps2 support added in but no pics yet)
