Beatrice Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Oh man... is that some last blade stick I see? Very nice, sir.
FormerlyUnknown Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 well i'm wondering if i should just mod out a te until i got it how i want it or start from scratch like those with the wooden case. I've never built anything like a fightstick before so i really have no idea what i'm doing ^^;; so any tips or guides you could send me would be wonderfull.
Cryingvoid Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Yeah, there's two lip looking things Lol, first I thought you were replying to that credit to your stick above (about distraction), look: That's a very neat Arcade Stick there... I'm more then sure it would distract anyone (especially me. :P) Yeah, there's two lip looking things... ))))) yeah, indeed. Moreover, there are more than just two )))) omg, sorry, but that was so ZONGish, I couldn't resist
ZONG_one Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 ROFL, a peek into the dirty mind of Cryingvoid.
True_Tech Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 this is my first stick I'll put my other stick up later today. I just changed the art out to litchi :D
Zeromus_X Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Nice. =) The mahjong tiles add a nice touch. Lol at the placement of the arcade stick.
harmless kitten Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Why is the stick covering up her boobs. That's like putting a stick on Mu's ass or Makoto's tail.
True_Tech Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 this is my second stick aka my travel stick, mojo jojo bubbles :D mc cthulu and rj45 so i can make different cables right now i have just a usb cable and a ps2 cable (melty blood) btw shameless plug www.foe-hammer.com we make sticks and cases. check out our flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/techmode/ edit: i didn't know it was gonna cover her boobs lol i'll reprint it and move her over next week, i'll also probably get some red and black buttons.
Setsuna Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 So i got my stickart made by one of my ex-friends, now im pondering the color of the buttons i should get for it ... any suggestions ?
mr.mortified Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 So i got my stickart made by one of my ex-friends, now im pondering the color of the buttons i should get for it ... any suggestions ? I would say go for seimitsu pink KN's if you still had the art where the holes should be with a pink bubbletop. If you're going for solid buttons and not trying to break your bank, I agree with True_tech here for blue/pink. On a more thread related note.... here's stick #2 in my probably not many sticks collection. This one's for a friend and was a bitch when it came to finishing... I had it done completely and then left it outside to dry and then it rained...... it raised the seams on all the edges, made me cry, and had to sand them all down and do it all over again. It came out pretty well apart from orange peel gloss.... gotta learn how to make it nice and piano finish.

A.K. Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Sakabato...how do you cut so much art so well?;___; I'm still having a hard time wanting to mod my stick...No one knows how around here.(In my town that is) =/
sakabato24 Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 ^ ^ Thanks, but I'm still no good to be honest, I'm just glad my recent art wasn't cut into pieces because I haven't cut art in quite a while
A.K. Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 How do you cut it? I tried using a erm...I don't know the word for it actually....@_@ A really thin razor blade I guess.
sakabato24 Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 X-acto knife or a razor blade is fine. When cutting holes into the art, I basically cut an "X" into the hole and cut out each triangle piece by piece, this way, you won't have to tear much of the art off. The same thing for the turbo panel. Also try to keep the blade as vertical as much as possible, to get good, clean cuts.
mr.mortified Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Oh that god gundam doing awesome things. Now that that fkn UBW is done I can work on the fkn blueframe that's been sitting in my closet. When cutting, the outside, for best straight line cuts, use a paper cutter/guillotine, for all purpose cuts use a good old art knife or scalpel. as sakabato said, vertical blades is the best way to cut this stuff out
Beatrice Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Oh man. I love that psp case cover, Saka! That's totally awesome... I should get something like that for mine... >.>
