Looking to buy a ps2 stick

not very picky, if fits sanwa parts i'll probably swap em all anyways, looking for under $150~ but let me know

forgive the off topic post, but im scouring the internet at this point for out of print products...

check out SRK tech talk, and SRK's trading outlet. I"m pretty sure someone was selling some ps2 sticks for like 125 in trading outlet (i think it was riotblade but i'm not sure)

edit: you can also mod a TE/SE or any stick really (as long as its common ground) to work for PS2 as well using a PS1 dualshock or analogless pad, e.g. my good friend hakami's TE which i did a while back

Print it at your local printing store like FedEx Kinko's/Office.

Print the .PSD file of it.

Print it on 80Lbs-110Lbs. Legal-Sized Cardstock paper

Make sure you print it WITHOUT THE CUTOUTS

Make sure when they start print it, DO NOT PRINT TO SCALE

If you are not using plexi, print it and lami-label it.

That is all.

just to ask, where can i get a hold of that button art that i see everywhere like in: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1351/5158617676_01ca043f83_z.jpg

also is there a thread on dustloop where i can ask more questions? dont wanna keep cluttering this thread with my dumb questions.

Any stick-related questions you would like to have answered in the future should go to this thread :

http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?8397-The-quot-Help-Using-a-Stick-quot-Thread

As for the Button Art, you could just go to :

http://www.d3vlicious.com/

and download the .PSD file of his BB-Type d3v template. It has all button layouts, from the SF LP/MP/HP button art layout to BB's layout.

Hope this helps.

Some color combination of black/white/violet seems go to me at least. There is a lot of black/white space there, so I think that is a good base to start.

Is it possible to buy different color bevels, or do you have to paint it? Red doesn't go with anything -_-

You can buy them from Madcatz as Skyking mentioned or you can use vinyl dye to paint them yourself (which is the option I went with). Vinyl dye is likely to be cheaper (I think I paid around $8 for a can) but you may need to go online to find it. You'll also need to let it cure for several days.

EDIT: This pics for this post wouldn't show after awhile for some reason.

The real post is on the next page now.

Here's my stick.

It's everyone favorite American with Kansai-Ben dialect Bunny Girl, Catherine. The button colors are themed after her swimsuit as well.

The bottom of the stick has art from the video game, Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon.

ok i'd like some guidance here, Basically i just installed my artwork, However I'm still waiting on my seimetsu's to come in the mail. Now, I'm using my old sanwa's for now but they feel...Stiffer all of a sudden. Am i doing something Wrong o.o? Is it because I Re-snapped them in? cause i hear sanwa snap-in's never feel the same if they're Snapped in again. Or does it have to do with the wiring?

Edit- BTW I'm modding a Madcatz TE-S

I've never experienced sanwa's getting stiffer after reassembly. You sure you got the button pressed down all the way to the switch? Sometimes it takes a couple of full presses to lock it in properly; maybe that's what you're feeling.

Snap-ins tend to just wear down a bit because the small things on the side eventually get pushed into the button. You can "fix" it by removing the top part with a screwdriver and just push them back out. As for the buttons feeling stiff, there may be something stuck inside. Do as I said just before and just blow air in them or something and test the spring with your finger. There could also be something getting in the way of the button (a wire ect.) you never know.
