Krazy Kannibal Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 well it was about a month in the making but i finally finished! the pictures don't really do it justice cause its pretty as fuck.
Souji5 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Thanks Alpha ! Yes I do carry them as an option for custom sticks (srk sale thread), if you are interested just let me know what you were after
Alpha152 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 The prices on your site for completed customs are $270-$350, would that be the same range for the all buttons custom stick? All buttons sticks are something I would like to try out but I would have to save up a lot to afford it
Vinn Aleixo Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Well, I've finally modded my Hori FS3, one of the hardest sticks to mod. Now I need to put art and PCB (PS2, PS3 and PC, because I play GG, MB, etc.). Joystick: Seimitsu LS-40-01 (Red Shaft Cover and Bubbletop) Pushbuttons: 6x Seimitsu PS-14-D-N (Black Rim/Red Button) + 2 improvised start/select pushbuttons, all screw-in WIP mod images:
Krazy Kannibal Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Well it took almost a month, but i finally finished! The pictures dont quite do it justice because its pretty as fuck.
RaveSage Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I feel your pain. That was my first mod too. T-T
WintySoSolo Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I'm thinking about finally getting something to put on my stick. I don't really have a strong feeling for a single character now so I can't really adapt my old design. However, I was trying out some random pictures just slapped on the template and I found this to be really awesome, I might get it printed.
Sharakonta Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I just started workin on the art for my stick and I'm curious as to any suggestions people could give me on it, that bottom right corner is gonna have the BBCS logo I just haven't the time tonight to put it in.
Circuitous Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Drop the text, drop the center gradient. Get a higher-res, more complete emblem. That'll be a good start, you can tinker from there.
yashanyu1 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Agreed, that gradient is bothersome. and i say unless you actually have the stage in the back, perhaps just keep the "the devil can site scripture for his own purposes text" and cut out the kagutsuchi port stuff.
Sharakonta Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Well this is the updated version of it. I took your guys suggestions, that gradient I'd planned on gettin rid of since it didn't work the way it was supposed to.
huey253 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 experiment with the logo color. its kinda weird to look at imo
BladeOfJustice7 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 experiment with the logo color. its kinda weird to look at imo Make the emblem dark green:psyduck:
yashanyu1 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Experiment with the background a bit more I say, Seems just a bit bland oh and maybe move the quote slightly to the left. to center it better
KCMmmmm Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Ok, so it isn't BlazBlue or Guilty Gear related, but when I sat and thought about what represented me well as a gamer, this is what I decided on. Of course, Ammy is confirmed for MVC3, so this carries the added benefit of supporting that game (BB will remain my prime fighting game). Specs: HRAP3 for PS3 with original Sanwa stick and square gate, replaced original Hori buttons with Sanwa snap ins (and two screw-ins for start/select buttons). Using plexiglass, not lami-label. Just finished it today!
KCMmmmm Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 @ Sharakonta What would you think of removing Hazama entirely from the artwork, making the background gradiate from black on his side to green towards the right side/corner, and putting a plexiglass engraved with the Hazama image over the black section? Something like this: If you decide to go that route, that was made by the same guy from whom I ordered my plexi and art cuts at http://www.tek-innovations.com/arthobbies/. Shipping is slow but he's legit.
Ril I am Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 shared this with the NJ thread so I thought I'd post here. My HRAP2SA which I had for about 2.5 years and decided to get some art on there. I lost the two screws since they broke off on the right but have spares coming in.
yashanyu1 Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 (edited) very nice :3 And hooray my tekken 5 hrap came in :D and I've already got it deflowered :3 Plan on painting the case, and using a mc chthulu board. Souji5 Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 Whats up dustloop It's been a few months in the making, but the first public model of the Proto stick is ready. With the Rev 1.3 there were changes made to the chamfer size of the sides and the recess of the front button holes. If anyone is interested in picking one of these up, I will now have them in stock in the sales thread on srk and the website Internals Feature: PS360 PCB Sanwa JLF/Sanwa 30mm buttons Seimitsu 24mm/Ponyboy 24mm Custom Zebra wood dustwasher GT-C round restrictor
