Well, that and when are you going to hit with a TK UF and still have the spacing right for a big combo?

Bear in mind that the Japanese also play against people who know their defense (IE other Japanese players). Setups like that may work on people who don't just fine, but someone good will probably block your UF and laugh at you. I don't think I'm the only person who thinks 75% meter is usually worth 75+% of your opponent's lifebar, so there's more reason than just meter costs that you never see that sort of thing in matches.

there are no setups for tkuf...50% tension makes overdrive attacks an option.

someone tries to hit you with a non meaty low they get hit by it..someone who airdashes at you when you have 50% tension deserves to be super'd

supers should only be reactionary which means they can possibly get you out of tight situations...they aren't things to spam just to try and get 300+ damage...it can happen but for all reality the ONLY PEOPLE WHO SHOULD LAND 300 damage combos are slayer, jam, may,aba.

i-no's damage is in the b range. ino has to work for a knockdown in order to get the maximum damage she wants....anyone can get good damage if they hit their opponent with the right attack. plus you have to keep in mind how much health the opponent has.

stop picking on bucklemyshoe. i-no doesn't do great damage. she does difficult combos for average damage generally. she has a few good set-ups for high damage. but i think the best way to put it is, the BEST I-No of all time was koichi; he dropped her in AC because she was so bad, and he's a combo god; he invented so much stuff with her, it's crazy. if he can't win with her anymore, or land high damage anymore... @_@ who can. me, that's who.

Being in the worst tier in a game with basically no survival borderline isn't that bad. Low tier characters are perfectly usable. Watching people like Bleed kick some high tier ass is great.

I don't know any Japanese so fellow Koreans who know Japanese should help me with this one. It's from 투극혼 but in japanese. If I had to guess, 鬪克 I think. It's nothing messed up about it when you think about their matchups. B~D tiers determined by how many disadv/advantage matups they have. Hey, it's Japanese tiers.

Pretty messed up how? It's relatively same to most tier lists, with just more people dropping to C rank from B rank. S, A, and D tiers are relatively the same, not surprisingly. B and C tier are the "gray area" of Accent Core's tier list.

I didn't even notice Millia that low, which is . Also, I don't think being in front or behind any character holds any meaning as in Sol is the best in C tier while OS is the worst.

But Anji has no good matchups, except for Pot+Johnny which are 5-5. Hell, he has nearly 4 7-3s, so how is he 11th from the bottom?

Anji fights better (just tiny bit, TINY) against characters that other D tier characters have problem with. limekey, domi etc proves it

I'm guessing the reason why Anji's in C tier is because of his anti-pressure options,he has several of them(though they're all pretty high risk).That's probably the reason why he's in C,and the fact that he can take on some of the higher tier characters better than the most of the cast (ie Eddie/Potemkin).Sure Anji is down...but he's definitely not out yet.However,I wouldn't put him that high on the tier list...maybe the bottom of C.It's probably Limekey/Dry Ace making him look that good(Domi is probably retired now).

I can't accept slayer being class A and Ky on C.

I can see how they would put Ky in C, although I do think he's B. What's wrong with Slayer being A rank? In most tier lists he is A rank, close to being S, so it's not unbelievable that he was ranked A in this list.

I think it's from the May issue of Tougeki Damashi(i?) magazine. I posted the same list a couple weeks ago. It even followed with a similar discussion about whether or not the order matters within each tier, and people were upset about Slayer being in A even though that's where he always is... except in the main DL list.

I disagree strongly with an awful lot of that list's placing, but if it does anything for me, it reminds me of just how balanced AC is. Past Eddie, Testament, Pot, Buri, Johnny, I-No, and probably Axl and Baiken, all of whose positions are relatively locked-in at this point, almost every character's spot is rather incredibly debatable.

Meh. "Japanese tiers" only means one person in Japan thinks that. Personally, at LEAST slayer is way wrong. Wasn't there talk of him > Eddie/Testament not very long ago? I might believe under pot, but definitely not Baiken and Jam.

Sol is near bottom of the C ranks. No way he's better than Faust or Ky. Sol are Anji are the bottom of the C. Top C IMO are Ky, Faust, Order-Sol. Everyone else is debatable.

I take it Slayer is lower than Potemkin because Potemkin does better against Testament and Eddie.... Highly doubt he's worse than Jam and Baiken though.
