brofist Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Well, if you look at all the main gundams colors of each series, RX-78, Wing Gundam and Wing Gundam Zero, Z Gundam, ZZ Gundam, Shining and Burning Gundam, and so on, they all have the same color scheme, so I'm with Taiyz on this although you are not wrong yourself.Its a main linchpin of the series to use Red/Blue (white and/or yellow) as the main character's color; its easier to discern who to root for (and when they go "bad", they pick up red/black MSs). Its as much justification as all fighting games take place in tourneys. And Tao's DLC color can't be jubei; jubei's face isn't orange (they've been pretty damn accurate with the other cameos, I doubt they'd both cameo their own original character and then butcher it ).

Anyway, I was hoping to get the ones from the Distortion Drive FX that fold outwards either during a DD or Astral Heat because the wings for Lamda-11's emblem are clipped in Character select for one thing, same goes for Mu-12's...also Makoto's Distortion Drive emblem is missing from the bunch too.

I've noticed that there seem to be 2 sets of emblems- one that appears behind the character on the select screen (the cropped ones in the Emblems package) and another one that appears on the character's arcade intro scene (this one shows the full emblem but is smaller). Are the latter accessible at all? Also, I'm looking for Mu's emblem. Since she's not selectable in Arcade mode, I figure it's unlikely they have an emblem for her anywhere (aside from the CS logo background). Am I correct?
Circuitous Posted August 15, 2010 Author Posted August 15, 2010 There are three types of emblems. Character select: sides cut off. Full version: same resolution, sides not cut off. Piecemeal: for 3D effects. The emblems are cut into their individual pieces.

I'm having trouble finding them on the internet. I want just full sprites. maybe with Background of character specific stage or something. but those bmp images won't suffice for what I'm looking for. I hope that is clear.

Circ is ripping everything he possible can off of the disk and going to upload it in one large pack. So stop hassling him about what you want, and just wait. He's been working on this for a long time and this shit takes forever to sort and file.

I was telling him the Jin Sprite DL Link wasn't working. and simply asking for any more sprites I could get. Since, obviously, the one I wanted isn't functioning properly. I also love how you said I was "hassling" him about it. I made my first post on this thread. I wasn't even begging or using annoying characters. why do you have to get all shitbricked on me?

I was was talking generally, you're not the first person to post in this thread asking for sprites and saying a link isn't working when it's something as simple as try again later. So yeah, sorry if it seems like I'm yelling at you, it's just when the same kind of question gets asked for the 50th time, it gets annoying.

I am having a very hard time finding good sized images/sprites of Robo-Jin. so I just thought coming to Dustloop would help me out. to no avail unfortunately. I'll try again after I post this.
