you guys are crazy if you actually look and see who has a better faust and plays with him the correct way he is supposed to be played then you would know it's R.F nemo just looks like every other japanese Faust R.F has a distinct style and is a pioneer ....when i look for new faust shit i find R.F not nemo who barely plays anymore.....

Nemo use to be my favorite Faust. The guy was original and a beast. I barely saw him when slash came out and rarily do I see vids of him in AC. He owns in most of the ones I've seen though. But R.F. is where its at right now. I didn't like him as much at first but I can definitely see him as being the better faust. Nemo needs to play more for me to change my opinion.

R.F. is a minimalist. He wins with the same basic tools Faust has had since #R. These tools have remained powerful throughout slash and now AC. He has experience, and thats what counts.

Zoning is what Faust is supposed to be doing but i don't see how nemo is better at okizeme i see R.F get way more knockdowns and formulate a plan from that and do pretty damn well the only thing i see that nemo does more that R.F is the FB handslap and that is a good move but faust could use his tension is more useful ways

yeah i know zoning is what Faust is supposed to do but i see R.F skill zoning much better than nemo. hmm i saw many video match R.F,i never saw he doing FB hand slap . about you dont see how nemo is better at okizime,you should watch SBO 06 (GGXX slash) okizime's nemo is a beast.hey i did'nt see R.F in SBO 06 where is he?

Yeah I think this is a video posting/video discussion thread -- not a "Who's the better player?" thread. Thanks for those videos Zinac. On a side note: I believe Faust is at his best when he's zoning. Sure he has decent mixups after a knockdown, but sometimes the risk/reward factor for getting the damage off of his mixups is not as strong as some other characters. And depending on the matchup, it'll be better to focus more on good basic zoning than going for fancy mixups.

I agree id say zoning is a huge chunk of faust gameplay but his mixups are really effective tho wen u exectute them properly e.g j.FDC-2k owns so bad

so at the end of match 2 in that one, is there a good reason nemo does the 2P,2S,2D,K to air combo instead of 2P,2S,2H, pogo, S, H? or was it just because that's what came to mind? i've been doing the latter as my combo on hit.

it's all in taste and how you want to set them up..... they both do the same amount of damage roughly it just depends on how you want to approach them next.
