feri Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 I like 6 4 6 4 6 S Dandy - PILE BANGAAA, when the opponents knocked down, myself. my aim is to land this now =D
JinSaotome Posted September 24, 2008 Posted September 24, 2008 I catch way more people with it than I should
feri Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 success ;_; cept it was done off a sly airthrow in the corner after a failed relaunch. Oh the hilarity...
HolyOrderChipp Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 How much frame advantage does 6P FRC have? I imagine you could pull off all manner of shenannigans with it... S Dandy seems like a nice idea. Or, 6P FRC, dash behind them (You're close enough afterwards, right?) and then... BITE! Or, if it's dependant on the spacing of the 6P which side you end up on, so much the better. Hmmm... If there were a way to combo off the 6P FRC by dashing, you wouldn't even have to hit confirm... Maybe I'm just obsessed with 6P FRC because it's one of the few I can do...

AleXander Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 aight whATS this tech super shenenagans i hear about? =O.
Zaido Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 basically in one of the tourneys, boss slayer beat flashmetroid with a tech and directly went into DHD super(Air super 214214S), and won him the match... then from that point on, it became his signature move... TECH SUPER => Win.

TECH SUPER => Win. dam thats sweet. Actually i will say thats BOSS. So an air super must be FDed in the air i assume? thats fairly pimp oh no wait. were they both in the air? like say he dropped a combo for a possible reset and then supered after his oponent teched? oh did boss tech and then just bust out a random air super at his grounded opponent?
Zaido Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 i forgot how it went but boss was in the air, flash was on the floor, and i dont remember if he jumped or not, but he did the super right after he teched... and it connected
AleXander Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 oh awesome just to contribute, theres this old thing ive been doing since XX. You dash to the otherside of the opponent and do dead on time super. Sorry if its been mentioned before,Still works like 100% of the time for me. motion. 412366(dash otherside) 47 S
axel Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81VjO4piIsg 7:36 I believe it's safe even on block? And it's a great way to CH your opponent who tries to airthrow reset you.

I'll have to test
Zaido Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Blocked DHD is not safe, i think they can throw you right after they block or characters like johnny can start a combo on you after its guarded... i believe its not safe to my knowledge. and in the frame data it says it has a landing recover of 20... so... :V
rtl42 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 just fyi, depending on the relative position, i've had DHD cross-up against Baiken. so there ya go.
Honnou Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 a DHD is a lot like I-no's dives from what I can tell, depending on where slayer touches the person who blocks, it is punishable/unpunishable. if you hit them lower on their body, you'll be able to block/bd but if you hit too high then you're probably gonna get thrown or combo'd.
thegame4ever Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81VjO4piIsg 7:36 I believe it's safe even on block? I watched without looking at description and was like 'woah holy shit, this eddie is sooo good, i should step up my game i pale in comparision, a normal eddie player is this good?' Then I read description and saw it was latif.
