Wirya Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 @RoBoBOBR : Ouch no it's not me who deleted your post. Well sorry if the trick it's not really helpful/spam-able. I posted it since it's similar to the old HOS storm viper trick, and that trick was useful. Well, maybe when your opponent has no tension you can try that "free DHD" =]
Villainous Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 @RoBoBOBR : Ouch no it's not me who deleted your post. Well sorry if the trick it's not really helpful/spam-able. I posted it since it's similar to the old HOS storm viper trick, and that trick was useful. Well, maybe when your opponent has no tension you can try that "free DHD" =] Making them block a move would give them enough tension to FD the one hit of DHD.....so the idea wouldn't work
Wirya Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Damn I forgot that @_@ Aw shit gonna test it for the last time, if the trick is really useless then I'm gonna delete the post ASAP.
femoral Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 one of my favorite corner pressures is 6HS - 2K K 6P FRC repeat as nessecary, something will hit them eventually epecially if they try and jump out also for fun mix ups u can throw a dash bite in there at any time.
Wirya Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Okay I've decided that the "free DHD" trick is not really that useful. Sorry guys, looks like I'll have to choose more carefully what to post.
Villainous Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 2P to make them block into 6K works a lot. If they get smart and try to jump out or retaliate, you can do 2P 2S for CH into whatever from 2S. It's pretty nice.
TITANIUM BEAST!!! Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 You know what's even better than that? 2S into 6K! =/
Villainous Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Yes, but I was saying the gap between 2P 6K is good because it makes them want to start getting out after they see it a few times and then you can rape them in the face with the much tighter 2P 2S. (WHICH CAN LEAD INTO 2S 6K ZOMG MIX UPS WHUT)
CrimsonDisaster Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 lol TK DHD to punish wakeup backdash TOP TIER (awful don't do it please)
Honnou Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I just like staying point blank with Slayer all the time :3 LOL TK DHD is funny ALL the time, do it whiff then bite or Tk it to dodge a throw attempt...:O
Lucy Boy Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 TK DHD? that mixup is so old i lol'd BBU -> nothing is where it's at
Villainous Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Here's a trick I made up after watching some niga videos where he does j.K -> DOT. Get up close to them, as much as possible, and do c.S JC IAD over them cross up j.K DOT. Lands a looooooot of the time and if you're good you can FRC it into face rape.
Ross Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 for that trick can you get cross up HS and go into BBU? or is the hs to slow and easy to see coming?
Arvandor Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 When I do cross-up j.K's (usually after a throw, which is stupid and risky, and works more than it should), I'm usually too far out for the j.HS to hit I believe. I generally just do j.K 5K 236K then whatever. Fake-throw if no tension, or RC 5S Pile. I didn't even know you could j.HS into BBU or j.K into DOT... That's some nasty stuff right there =) I'll have to see if j.K DOT is better than j.K 5K 236K RC 5S Pile. I need to use 6HS more... I really haven't been using it much now that I can't special cancel it, which I know is stupid, but still =/
MacArthur Blunts Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 DOT FRC is better than RC pile crap. So do it if you have the tension, otherwise, just get a knockdown or BBU off.
IreulTheSlayer Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Let me add one scrubby thing which lands a lot, and sorry if I read topics not carefully enough and it has been posted before: Fear from the past: people know bite loop is dead. And somehow last thing they expect after a bite - is another bite. If you can't do FDC bite and/or your opponent is good at mashing out of stagger - you can use throw. Not very useful, but still gives you some health from bites.
FEARdaGEAR Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 palor trick #1 double reversal bite: start with 2p (very close)66 (behind enemy)OTG bite 6HS frc 66 (behind) OTG bite your choice of combo. very fast very tight. not a slayer player, but i love this set-up.if they wiggle on stagger u will not get the extended 1. feed back
Villainous Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 so a low hit jK land DOT? Sorry for the slow response. Basically, j.H doesn't turn around as fast as j.K for some reason and you want to hit them with the cross up as fast as possible before they have time to react to it. It may be possible to use j.H but it's probably a lot slower. If you land close enough you can usually just go into 2K 2H stuff but generally after the air dash, you keep a bit of momentum and are too far to combo it, so DOT covers the "too far away" part of that. Plus it looks sexy.
Zaido Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 what is OTG Bite? On The Ground BIte? srry if i sound stupid >.> but i am curious why OTG bite and not just Bite :V Villinious: its ok.. thx for response
Villainous Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I was wondering bout OTG bite too. And why go for another bite into something? I just take my BBU and go with it.
MacArthur Blunts Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Omg. Crank'ed gaurd+Bite+BBU=lolz.
Chungamer2 Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 for an oppenent at a defensive mode i usually: get a 6D > dash(cross up) before they get up > 216S-S when the oppent falls, dash behind, but before they can get up and switch back your original position and blast them in the face, but beware of people who just mash cuz its suppose to be a mind fawk on a non-aggresive person
ky0n01 Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 @Chun i like that double cross up~ thx for sharing~ i think i saw this in a japanese matchvid but forgot it~ i just started playing slayer a few days ago, but i came up with this "frightening technik".... this 2k> dash> 2k rc> 2k > rc> throw. you wasted 100% tension but you managed to increase the accuracy of the throw by 70%
