Sanger Zonvolt Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 You are both slowed down. So it turns into the Matrix. Alright thanks for the answer White Man and Antaiseito 2
Silver Mushroom 2 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 In Xrd, 1. I know you can throw crouching opponents, but can you throw opponents while they're low-profile like order sol during the active frames of his 2D? 2. Did the increased block-stun from crouching blocks change? Thanks in advance.
4r5 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 You can throw anyone that is in a grounded state and not in a throw-invulnerable state. So yes, you can throw Order-Sol out of 2D. You can even throw Sol out of Grand Viper. (Difficult)You have never suffered increased blockstun for blocking while in crouch. However, you do suffer +1f of hitstun if you were crouching. Poultrygeist Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Any idea if Xrd will have "Capcom" style button mapping? What I mean is, how you can have the same attack mapped to two buttons in SF4 and Marvel. For instance if I want to map S to both a face button and a shoulder button. This would be very convenient but many games don't have this kind of mapping to my knowledge.

They have PK, PKS, PKSH, SH, and HD for macro mappings however.
Poultrygeist Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 So how does button priority work then? Would I be able to perform a shadow input for Zato and then switch my input over to the shortcut, would it still read as the shadow being held? You can do something similar with Carmine/Yuzuriha using the shortcut mappings in UNIEL.
Wokker Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Im sorry if this has been asked before, but can you use a PS3 stick on a PS4 and play Xrd with it?
Killer Oreo Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Im sorry if this has been asked before, but can you use a PS3 stick on a PS4 and play Xrd with it? Not unless Aksys goes the extra mile and provides driver support, no. However, Arcsys US has been informed of the issue of PS3 arcade stick compatibility. I'll post a quote of their tweet below "Yes, we know about @LabZeroGames driver. It's been brought to the attention to the powers that be. This is NOT a confirmation. @aksysgames"
Eng_08 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Im sorry if this has been asked before, but can you use a PS3 stick on a PS4 and play Xrd with it? At least in the PS4 demo PS3 arcade sticks are not supported. So i won't get my hopes up that the full game will support them. I contacted ASW directly a few days ago, if it's possible that they add support via a patch in the near future. But they seemed to have totally misunderstood my question (maybe because i wrote them in English) and just replied that they are not planning to release ps4 arcade sticks abroad, and that I should contact the respective manufacturers.

You can do something similar with Carmine/Yuzuriha using the shortcut mappings in UNIEL. Holding down a button prevents it form being used by anything else. i.e.: Holding P and pressing a Macro for PKSH will only result in KSH being registered. Holding PKSH will prevent you from pressing any of the buttons in the macro normally. Can't hold a button down and still get use from it.
Poultrygeist Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Even if I release the face button and switch over to the macro? I'm not sure if what I'm asking is clear or not, but theoretically let's assume I input 236P and after pressing P I hold a macro for PKSH. Would it be read as me holding P still?
OneSanitarium Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Yes, if you input 236P, but press PKSH, the P from the special remains held down.
MD_Spriggs Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Is it possible to FCR cancel on a PS3 controller despite the lag if don't have the usb connectd?
Pichy Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Button macros delay inputs by 1f from memory. So the timing is very slightly different, but pad players do fine. You should not be worried about input lag from a wireless pad that's right next to a PS3. If you are, consider switching to a wired device in the first place.
Guilty Valentine Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 How probable would you say a vita port of Xrd is?
Yukikaze Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 How probable would you say a vita port of Xrd is? Did Vita generate more sales than Xbox?
White Man Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 How probable would you say a vita port of Xrd is? Nearly impossible to say at this point, though ASW does seem to like porting their fighters to Vita. They've done it enough times that a viable market obviously exists. I'm not 100% certain the system's hardware would be able to run Xrd, but given that the Vita ports of Mortal Kombat and Injustice both ran on Unreal Engine 3, I would think it should be possible.
antonymichiru Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Hi guys Do you know if we can play gg on ps4 with ps3 arcade stick ?
Ragnarok_F4 Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Is there a bonus for digital pre-orders? Also, is there a pre-load function (similar to that of Smash for WiiU), in which you download the majority of the game before its release?
Diveman Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 It was mentioned that those who preorder Xrd would get Elphelt for free right? (or was it sin?) what about digital preorder, are there any bonuses?
SolxBaiken Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 A little expansion and clarification [regarding the JPN PSN ver]: - Yes there is pre-loading, should become available 12/1 - Getting Elphelt as a free pre-order bonus for the digital version ONLY applies during 11/20~30 - useless to pretty much anyone here but you also get entered into a raffle lolol Antaiseito and Ragnarok_F4 2
