Stage 4: Makoto Relius notices Makoto spying on him, and they chat before Relius dismisses her. Makoto tries pressing him for answers or something and he sics Ignis on her. After testing Ignis, moves on, possibly calling Makoto useless. Stage 8: Tager Tager finds Relius in his study, and they have the little story mode chat with Kokonoe. Due to Tsubaki's Izayoi being active nearby, Kokonoe loses communique with Tager, who attacks Relius as a result. Relius wins, call him trash, etc. Stage 9: Carl Same shit from Story Mode, except the fight actually takes place between them instead of Litchi intervening. After the fight, Phantom teleports Carl away and calls Relius to go to the top floor, where Hazama lies defeated at Ragna's hands. Final Stage: Unlimited Hazama Relius finds Hazama beaten on the ground and chats with him. They volley some sarcasm around before Hazama decides to fight Relius for no clear reason. This is the only Arcade mode path where Hazama doesn't do "RESTRICTION 666 BLAH BLAH BLAH" into Terumi Install. Ending Terumi lies beaten again, and chats some more with Relius while being strangled by Ignis, informing him that the life-link with Noel is already in place, along with some shit about Kushinada's Lynchpin from Shuichiro Ayatsuki (Phase Shift 0). Phantom then appears and tells them that Ragna just beat Mu. Pictures of the True Ending from Story Mode where Terumi unleashes the virus on Takamagahara are shown while he laughs like crazy. Ignis then rips out his throat, in the process revealing that's how he got inside Takamagahara...Relius killed Terumi's physical body offscreen so his spirit could float up into Takamagahara and unleash the virus while his body recovered due to the lifelink. Relius then murmurs to himself about the current state of events. End. Relius does not have a secret boss fight like everyone else does with Unlimited Mu or Ragna Edited October 26, 2011 by Vulcan422

Tong Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Interesting, Terumi needs to die to assume spirit form. From the looks of it, Relius' arcade mode is 100% canon and doesnt conflict with anyone's else. It also explains what the rest of the cast was doing during true ending events.

Actually, it's not the same as the true ending in story mode. When you see Saya at the very end of story mode and they're all talking, Hazama is standing there in his human form, AFTER he infected the Tagamagahara (sp?) with the virus. So Relius' ending can't be true unless Hazama had a backup body, which he doesn't seem to have.

Vulcan422 Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Hazama does not need a backup body. He has life-link, remember? As long as Noel is alive, his physical body (Kazuma) will not die. His spirit form is another matter entirely. He needs an observer for his spirit form. In this case, it used to be Noel, but after Noel's life-link was forcibly broken by Ragna, by then he had allready awakened Saya and had her observe him.

I want this extremely bad as well, it's such an awesome idea. I'm assuming the secret character Kazuma, they'll probably show the scene where Relius gets transported back in time after being eaten by the Black Beast and then explain the story between him and Hazama.

Shuuichiro (that's Nine's Dad's name iirc) is hardly known at all, and never really talked about from what I've seen. Assuming by "popular", they mean well known/well liked, it's waaay more likely to be Nine or Kazuma in a flashback, in my opinion :3 I would say it's more likely to be Kazuma seeing as Relius and Nine never interacted (from what has been shown)... but I don't wanna get my hopes up xD;

Does anyone know why Terumi is/was such a fucking asshole? What the hell happened to him? You can go on the wiki and look around and there's tidbits on him and the fusion with Kazuma, and Phase shift 1 is in Japanese still if I recall. So, why the hell is he such a dick? Don't get me wrong, I love Hazama/Terumi (He is a sub of mine after all) but I just don't understand where the hell this, antisocial socio/psychopathic, homicidal, hatred of everything and everyone comes from. Sure there's moments where he seems almost kind, so it's safe to assume he's not all bad--those are the best kinds of villains after all. (I'm referring to the mask he puts on to his associates) Yet, he's clearly unstable. . .This kind of mental instability doesn't usually come out of no where, so it's safe to assume he had some sort of tragedy befall him. . .right? They don't give a lot of info on characters and their pasts (In depth anyway) but seriously, this seems like it should be a well known fact and it doesn't seem to be. More often then not I find myself shaking my head going, "Terumi, come on. . ." Anyone?
