There still seems to be a problem with avatars. I'm completely unable to set one, be it via upload or URL.

 

EDIT: Also, trying to use an emoticon in a signature results in the error " Unable to retrieve signature image dimensions for http://www.dustloop.com/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_ballDS.png, please try another image. "

Its not a pressing matter but I have noticed that site is missing subforum dedicated to upcoming Blazblue Tag game. I'm aware that we know nearly nothing about this game and if it were so much needed somebody could just make new topic in Central Fiction section.

But I think that BB Tag still deserves its own dedeicated subforum? I'm unsure about us needing it so badly right in this moment but im sure we do need it more than for example section of upcoming underwhelming new  MvC. Also DBFZ has its own subforum (although I know that there is much more we know about this game already).

 

Reaction Icons are absurdally big. They should be 1/4 as big.

 

When we are at Icons I must also point out that there are many missing Blazblue characters EmotIcons. I know that it takes artisian to craft them but if it can be done I think it should.

 

Articles section needs some love. There is not even note about Blazblue tag game being in preparation.

 

I have no more objections towards this site. Forums are great, preparing messages is pure pleasure, and sites Wiki is amazing specifically in sections regarding BB GG P4A and few other games where we are getting full or nearly full frame data, descriptions and even pictures showing given move.

@lofo I bumped up the avatar resolution to 512x512px and 1mb of file size, and I added he ability to add profile cover images

I'm CRACKED. Not only can I react to TK badmoon, I can snipe forum threads.

As for your request:
I'll try my best. I gotta figure out how this software works.
I'll probably incrementally work on updates as people request them over the coming weeks and months

Do you think you'll ever expand the site to cover Strive, DNF, or GBVSR? To be honest with you, I see hosting so much information in character discords to be a bit of a liability. In five years or so, I can guarantee that 90% of the active discussion of the game will have vanished into the aether because of servers being taken down or whatever. Honestly, I'd love to bring some people from character discords back onto a real forum if there's the infrastructure for it.

I'm not super experienced with the forum software that this new install is running on, but I'll do my bes!!

Someone mentioned it on the server and despite the nostalgia on flashbang white forums, I do hope we do get to have options on dark mode themes. Even if the colors aren't customizable and all, just a selection of white/light, dark blue and probably black would probably be enough.

Would it be possible to change the buttons handling in-message text editing to be a lighter shade of grey in dark mode? Some of these are really difficult to parse rn (and the eye icon for the spoiler button is completely invisible unless you hover over it).
