This here be Blade country, and though I will not partake, I don't mind if you have beer and cheese and brats, just don't puke on my fighting game collection.

I've been in Milwaukee, Whitefish Bay, Greenbay, Eu Claire, Waukesha, Laona (backwoods), Iron Mountain, Rudolf, Steven's Point, and very rarely Madison, Racine, and Kenosha. Though I'm mostly centered towards Milwaukee.

You name it, I've probably got it. Samurai Showdown Anthology, Last Blade Anthology, SVC Chaos, CVS2, MVC2, HNK, RF, F/UC, SSHC, SC2, SC4, NGBC (no load time), MBAA, KOFMI2, and a crapton of Japanese games and shmups (even have a vertical monitor).

As of now, I have every single PS2 Guilty Gear game in existence (X+, Korean #R, Isuka, Slash, AC+) , and will be getting BBCS quite soon. So I'm hyped for that.

I warn you, I'm a sore loser, so be prepared to play several hours in training mode with me if you're considerably better in skill.

Also, to be clear, Chicago, despite being big, is nowhere near me, so Frosty Faustings is unlikely an event to visit. I might consider setting up a table at Midwest Gaming Classic or something, if they allow mods that is.

Otherwise we'll just have to set something up. I know a good place that rents out big screen TVs for a rather cheap price too.

Don't even ask me about Guitar Hero, DDR, or Halo...I will flatout reject you.

Yo, figured I'd go ahead and register after lurking dl for info since the ggxx/ days, since I'm moving to Madison in a couple of weeks and was wondering if there is any BB scene in WI. In case anyone wants to know, Frost Faustings usually happens once a year near New Years and it's in Illonois down south of Chicago last I heard. It's quite a trip. I forget who runs it.

Ya I just saw the IL thread, gotta say, GGA sounds like a pretty sweet setup. Once I get settled in and manage to afford a vehicle and such, I'm definitely planning on going to check that out. And I'll probably be able to make it to future AreaXIII ranbats since they're on Saturdays. Unfortunately yeah, it'll be October before I can grab a car and make it out there, until then I can't really go anywhere that Madison's city buses don't go lol.

So, nothing really in WI, huh. Or everyone's on SRK. But yeah, if anyone here wants to play me in netplay, feel free to add me, probably won't have a playable connection until first week of September though, since I'm still in NC til then.

Woo WI. Finally moved into my apt and got settled in, and played some netplay. I get better connections with some of my friends back in NC from here than I did when I lived < 2 hours from them...

And I ran into ya a couple of times the past couple of days online Kristoph, first 4 bar connection I've ever seen. GGs, nice Jin. I'll send friend req's to you and anyone else in this thread that's up for netplay next time I'm on.

Yeah, GGs to everyone I've played recently. Sounds good, at this point I'm kinda unsure if I'll get a car or not, I'm liking public transit so far and I'm not looking forward to paying for a car + gas + insurance. Is there anyone from the Madison area that might go? Maybe I could get a ride with someone (I'd pay for gas).

Or... if I was really desperate or something I guess I could take a bus out there (looks like I could get a greyhound roundtrip to/from Racine for like $48...). Or I could just suck it up and buy a car.

Just wondering, are any of yall importing AH3 this winter? I'm kinda thinking about flying out to Final Round next year since it's probably a good bit cheaper than EVO, and AH3's gonna be played there.
