Honnou Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Voting alone isn't good enough to decide the date in my opinion, due to some voters actually being able to go on 2 or all of the suggested dates while others have no choice but to go to only one date. It'd be better to have everyone just write A B and/or C, and count them up at the end. Voting is convenient but inaccurate in this case, because it only shows the date we wanted, but not the dates we can and cannot make. Considering that we are hoping for a large out-of-norcal turnout, we should do the aforementioned method or something better that someone else can suggest. Also, Norcal Install was a better name than HitConfirm. NCI Minor for short.

Mind you, some of them are reasonable and others are terrible. Voting just helps to put some things into perspective. I know some of you guys don't like the new HitConfirm name, but I have one thing to say, "Voice your opinion before I set things in stone." I'll be frank with the NorCal crew - start communicating. I schedule all my appointments two to three months in advanced. To tell me of gatherings happening the day BEFORE is like telling your mom, "I stole your car and totaled it, but don't worry. It's in the impound lot since last week." So shut up, show up, and hype up. Play your share of games and get other people hyped up to play it. And before you say, 'OH! BUT YOU NEVER TOLD US! LOLOLOL HYPOCRITE DIE IN A FIRE,' my response is, :3. You get what you deserve. Karma is a b____. Fill it in as you see fit. There is a reason why we renamed the tournament to, 'HitConfirm.' I won't spill the beans now, but I'll tell you the reason behind it after I finalize the venue with Dean/Chun. :3
