Random posts within a sadlife thread do not count. It gets lost in translation. Anyone could've sent me an email, PM, AIM, or phone call. This is coming from someone who checks dustloop everyday on his cell phone.

Coopa Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Hey, guys. I want to stream the norcal 5on5 qualifier with Haunts's help. He says he's down, and this would be a good way to promote the game as well as Iplaywinner. So my suggestion is: X + 2 weeks, where X is the date when Hit Confirm's event is decided. So for example, if we decided today that hit confirm's event is in September, then 2 weeks from now, we will have the 5on5 Norcal Qualifiers. The suggestion for the tourney location is at Shadowbrookes. Please leave your comments and opinions here.

Someone explain wtf this 5-on-5 thing is supposed to be, and then maybe we can give you our opinions on it. EDIT: Okay, NorCal vs SoCal 5 on 5. Got it. Still, are we just gonna hold some sort of qualifier tourney AT THE TOURNEY for both teams? That seems dumb. I think both areas should pick a captain, and the captains should pick who gets to be on their team. If you don't get picked, you can cry about it.

But if there is some sort of qualifier tourney for the 5 spots, I'll definitely be down. By then I'll have my 360 back and I'll be able to put in some practice time so I can be super pro.

There are a few pieces of info that we need to inform you all. I'll keep you up to date. Unfortunately, we have 0% chance to hold the minor at October. Drayne O Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 it would be easiest for me to make it on Aug. 28th, because i start school on Sept. 1st. but if not in august, the other 2 are just maybes. in the end, it'll just come down to how much homework i'm getting on average with all my classes. sept 4st might be 2nd best for me due to 1st week of school, i only have half of my classes, the others dont start until after the weekend of the 4th is over.

Correct, qualifiers for the respective Norcal or Socal teams (not at the tourney. You do it for yourselves in your own area). In the end you can do this however you want, but generally, I think qualifiers should be held so whining doesn't happen. Everyone gets a fair chance and people who did practice also get a chance to get a spot on their respective side and represent their area. That, and it's another gimmick to use and stream. I think it would be a good idea to help people get into BBCS more. Do it however you like though, but I still recommend it this way.
