I was trying some new stuff out, specifically a replacement for the j.BCB loop.

All I want to know is if j.BACB works the same way it does in CS2, as you can loop it twice off a j.B, like: j.BACB x2 > 6C(1) > kote > aerial... for around 2.5k.

And also if

"Itsuu A > 6kote > haku > hatsu > riichi > ippatsu > tanki hatsu > dash j.BACB > 6C (1) > kote > aerial.... " works

- You can only gatling in one direction either j.B > j.C or j.C > j.B once within a jump. j.BACB is not possible in EX.

It doesn't make sense to me...

j.B > j.A

j.A > j.C

j.C > j.B

Are all different gatlings and I only used one of the possible gatlings for j.B > j.C/ j.C > j.B

I'm confused :psyduck:

In EX you cant jB > jC > jB. Just because there is a jA in there before the jC it doesn't matter, it still counts as starting with a jB gatling into a jC and attempting to gatling into another jB. This cannot be bypassed by adding another attack in between the jB and jC. They are not different gatlings...just different option routes to create one gatling.

How tricky do Litchi combos feel in Extend? I've wanted to play her in CS2 but I was a little intimidated by some of her combos (my fingers are made of wood) and a few things being character specific. I know she's changed quite a bit in CSE but I can't try her just now obviously (Europe) :s

Well, some of us will say she requires lots of knowledge and execution, others will say she's Flowchart Ken.

From what's been posted, you'll have to know where you and the stick are in a stage in addition to having the execution and knowledge.

In a way, she's harder.

I don't know if I'm getting better or the game's getting easier. All I can tell you is that I've been playing Litchi since CT and the combos, generally, feel simpler than they've ever been. Rekkas occupy such a significant percentage of the combos and they're not at all difficult to time or input. She also doesn't have too much that's character specific. The only thing is that there's a lot more of them to learn so it takes more work to get to a point where you can hitconfirm properly off of most hits. It seems to me that it's gone from learning one difficult combo with variations to learning a set of mostly different but easier combos.

CT - Medium, needed to know a good amount of character specific and positioning to be effective

CS1 - Medium, a little less character specific, still needed to pay attention to screen position

CS2 - Easy

CSE - A little harder than CT/CS1, mostly because random hitconfirming is harder due to less hitstop on staffless normals. Overall not to bad though.

Here are the final "correct" proration numbers for EX Litchi. Overall I can say that they lowered her damage a bit, but gave her better proration numbers so her combos are still pretty lengthy.

Fio doesn't understand Litchi well enough. He's a good player, but not on the level of the people in top 8.

ooooo robbed of victory i thought he was robbed as in someone litteraly held him down and took somthing from him........damn.....anyways i find fio okay but i dont think hes THAT great, if i had to fight either him or shounen, id lose to shounen, now THATS a litchi player in japan id like to meet. though he didnt win GG, he still did well and those hit confirms were godlike plus tought me somthin new 2b[m] 6b[m] all green

I read all there is to litchi in extend but i would like to know on a personal level how does she fare in extend can she still do those delicious long combos ive seen a couple in japanese matches which were great

but question is...

what else is there to know about litchi if youre just now considering picking her up since shes no longer cheap in extend?

I'm cheering for him anyway. :)
