Very true as a fan of Faust, Zappa, and Robo-Ky I would have to agree with this. Though I don't know if I can justify buying her out of my acknowledgment that her character design is a glorification a psuedo-fetish that I don't identify with but have to put up with more than I like (we already have a gothic loli now we have a cutesy one, so now they can design somewhat more awesome characters right?). That and playing as her would be embarassing amongst my friends.

Eh, I don't think there's a point to taking (pseudo-)fetishes that seriously. I have no problem playing Bridget, Ash Crimson, Mai, Zangief, or Jin, despite only identifying sexually with one. I used to be really annoyed at Makoto, thinking of her as furry pandering(and not thinking of Taokaka as such because of the difference in tails) but then I realized I actually had no reason to give a shit, despite how..embarrassing most furries are, so I don't care anymore. I still think they should give her more clothes around the waist, largely for aesthetic reasons, but whatever. Real talk: If Arcana Heart 3 was a game of furry characters(with a handful of non-furries like AH3 having non-moe, non-loli characters) I'd still want to play it badly.

I also don't have friends who I'd be embarassed to play any of the aforementioned characters around. If there was a fighting game full of grandma fetishism, then I might for that, but we'd all probably find it way too hilarious to be legitimately embarrassed.

I also think "glorification" is too strong a word for this. It's sort of like when people call something "exploitive of females" when it has one sultry women among several women who are fairly badass. I reserve the word "exploitive" for things like 19th century industry, or Samus's ridiculous heels in Metroid: Other M. I'd find "glorification" more useful for a variety of biased historical texts or news media outlets, or maybe games like Grand Theft Auto/Saint's Row. Even with GTA/SR, I don't actually give a shit, because I have no issue distinguishing fantasy from reality, and the same goes for most of the game's developers.

Besides, what if someone took that and switched it to, "You beat up the glorification of lolis," as opposed to participating in it. This sort of shit is taking the game, and fetishes, way too seriously.

Actually, a modded stick can cost quiet a pretty penny depending on how many materials you use. I dumped nearly $300 into my 360 stick. (still pissed about it being gone)

I talked with the guy in my English class and it turns out he has some friends in the Plano area who play BB and SF4. Told him about this thread so hopefully he'll get an account and post soon.

the original demon's souls is on ps3, so that'd work too, for that game and its sequel.

but aside from ngbc/the 6-player online co-op castlevania game/non-exclusives, what you non-360 gamers are really missing out on is Banjo: Nuts and Bolts. Yeah, yeah, not a platformer like the other Banjo games, who gives a shit. You can use whatever vehicle you make even if it falls apart as soon as you take it out for a spin. I made a penis that ejaculates banjo across the stage. And a bearcopter, which consists of an engine, fuel, and a propeller right behind Banjo's seat. And a 16-wheel motorcycle that rides up walls.
