I won't be up for hosting meetup saturday the 18th or the next saturday, the 25th. So unless you guys are content with no dallas meetups confirmed before the 2nd, you should discuss meetup places. I suspect Ronin can host stuff in Arlington at least one of those weekends, if you're willing to drive 45-90 minutes.

About potential meetups, maybe we can get something set up with Shadowlan? I know there's one in the Richardson area pretty close to UTD and I think they allow people to set up consoles for set times and events. I'd have to research it when I get time though. Maybe further down the road they can sponsor tournaments.

Btw Jeff, I just commute to Collin College. I actually live in Dallas near South Garland. Also, you should use the magic of hyperlinks into the OP so it looks neater.

I'm basically looking for excuses to drive up to Denton, given that I lived there for a while during my misadventures attending UNT. (That and driving to denton is easier than driving to richardson for my normal thing with mightfo!!!!)

Yeah, shadowlan is a possibility. They're less than 15 minutes from here, so anyone who comes to my place should definitely be able to go there.

Btw, if you're watching ah3 footage and seeing a sort of golden shield around someone and them dashing, they're guard cancelling into homing dash, which can be pretty wicked sometimes when you do shit like guard cancelling against a long range poke and command grabbing them. Heat use is pretty high in this game, since when you use a level of heat, you're merely putting it on cooldown. Thus, guard cancels, supers and such up the ass.

we try to do it weekly. depending on where you live it my be easier for you to keep in contact with me or mightfo.

as of this week I do not know of any meetups just yet/i work weekends.
