To be fair tho we did get in a few hours of Brawl... and that was really it. Which was sorta lame because I got my TE today, but it was a blast.

I beat Rave with my worst character, Snake, on his best, Pikachu (after about 30 tries; he learned how unyielding my determination can be with any video game). I feel kinda bad for keeping him from playing BBCS, though. At least I learned a little bit about Snake. :3

Also, seems like because of my crazy antics, I'm not allowed to go to meetups anymore. I'll get that worked around soon hopefully but shoutouts to David(?) for telling it like it is.

Ill look into it and get back to you. i expect a research paper on whether or not you are a crack head by tuesday morning ps you guys keep the hype going while i'm unavailable again this week. sundayish i'll make a post with some vids and will probably say whether I can do that next friday or not. will definitely try to be available the weekend after at the least. bussyyyy run some kof2002um for me on friday/saturday~ also, blazblue info: i got to play some BB today online with a friend for about an hour, and realized something: if you're fighting a character who doesn't have an air reversal like ragna but you're worried about them doing dp on wakeup(hazama's jayoku, litchi, jin, etc) a good thing to do is to have a combo end where they air tech instead of ground tech, then throw an air unblockable or meaty or whatever at them. will definitely throw them off if they're mainly thinking about whether to dp or not. Pretty funny Ragna vs. Valk match. I don't know what the Ragna player was thinking. Seem like he was trying to use Belial Edge to dive kick the Valk player. Frigiddeath should enjoy that. I'd rather just keep playing at meetups until we have a big enough scene to organize smaller $5-$10 tourneys that I can go 0-2 at.

I'll also update the front post. Later tonight I'll post a little thing about KOF2002UM, which is out. Great news: I should be able to host next friday, and probably once every weekend for the rest of..uh..until spring semester. My litchi finally got off the ground, so you should see me play quite a bit of her next time. I also got to play some KOF2002UM, and will definitely run that there. Mmm, overheads.

I did it when i was little. moved to tkd, then to muay thai, aikido, kenjutsu, judo, and jujitsu. and then to kendo in college...yeah I like learning stuff like that >_>

Regarding absolute battle: I have to work on two papers a ton this weekend which are due monday, so I can't go, period. If I could, I don't know if I would, since it's $35 for venue+BB and I'm wary of SRK hosted tourneys since I don't want another quakecon mess. plus a bunch of us spending $35 to do what we could essentially do for free or with a pot of $5s with more setups is meh. it'd be good for getting some more players aware of our meetups and play people not from around here, though. KOF2002UM is out. Good news: -Online seems pretty good. I played a 200ms ping guy, I had significant input delay but it was fairly tolerable especially since I'm not trying to do gdlk combos. Played a 100ms guy and some 50-90ms guys, felt pretty great. IMO, better than TVC's online and from my limited experience SF4's, I don't think it's quite as good as NGBC's or, at its best, Blazblue's. -Tougeki version, so more balanced and less buggy. Also, don't give a shit about tiers. Just don't. "E Tier" characters are quite legit. -800 MSP Bad news: -No color edit.(wtf? it was in ngbc and the other versions of kof2002um..) -No gallery mode. Other notes: -Most bosses are illegal(including rugal, im dumb), but Geese/Goenitz are considered legal, though top. -You unlock alternate Robert/Kensou/Takuma by beating challenge missions, or by failing challenge mode 25/50/75 times, rofl. Dunno how to unlock geese/goenitz, endless mode I think. I really like Mai, Li Xiangfei, and Orochi Shermie. I did tkd when I was little too. (My instructor's name was Mr. Slaughter) :D I'm only doing karate at college right now for P.E. credits but I do enjoy it.
