ElvenShadow Posted June 3, 2008 Author Posted June 3, 2008 See I bring good things.. MO MONEY!!! theres always other green forms of payment I accept
Mr.Biscuits Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 theres always other green forms of payment I accept Heh, I was wondering how people get that over there...
ElvenShadow Posted June 3, 2008 Author Posted June 3, 2008 btw, I wanted to DL that really bad match vid of me from TRF but I cant figure it out. I can log in and get to the directory with all the files, but after I click download it asks for username and PW again I tried using the username trfggxx and PW nakanotrf but it didnt work what should I use?
rtl42 Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 you need to use the filebank download manager. usually, if it detects that you don't have the manager (or the latest version), something will pop up and prompt you to download/reject. did you get any prompts about downloading something? (if you're using Windows in English, you might just get a prompt with a bunch of question marks, cuz of the japanese) the other problem with filebank is that there are two download options. you want to use the second one, iirc.
ElvenShadow Posted June 3, 2008 Author Posted June 3, 2008 yea I know that theres 2 options, one is for faster downloads and you need to have an account or something which is why it asks you to log in. for whatever reason, when I try to use the 2nd option which is normal download, it just doesnt do anything at all i have japanese text so its not all just question marks
Caer-caveral Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 I think you have to change the settings first. If you go into the environment settings, you can choose between using their download manager or going with browser mode. If you select browser mode here and then try the second download option it should work.
ElvenShadow Posted June 3, 2008 Author Posted June 3, 2008 that did the trick, thanks Caer-caveral EDIT: LOLOLOLLOL! oh man I just watched that match. I forgot how bad it actually was! I was so brain dead when I played that. Sucks that ive had so many great matches since that shit that were never taped and this one happens to get uploaded :vbang: its cool, more good ones to come
axel Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Seems like that crazy Sol whom we saw at the qualifier at Yachiyodai is Mio in the recent GameChariot matches. That IAD Sidewinder loop on Potemkin is exactly what he did, coupled with that mindless and random playing style.
Spirit Juice Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 It's okay ES; it was Potemkin so you don't need an excuse. \(^o^)/
san-tokie Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 A wise man once told me, "Everyone loses to Pot Scrubs".
ElvenShadow Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 I just copied and pasted my entire blog into a MS word document so that I could back it up on my HD and it came out to 161 pages of single spaced 12 pt font times new roman text! WTF LOL!
Shazay Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Good read. Man, all that metal talk makes me wish I was there :P
ElvenShadow Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 haha yea right, its not like anyone would actually buy it id have to do some serious editing first when I pasted all that shit in MS word it gave me an error message saying "there are too many grammar and spelling errors to continue displaying them"
Spirit Juice Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Less GG, more , ES. What's horrible about all that is that you're supposed to be an English teacher, right?
ElvenShadow Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 its not that i dont know proper grammar and spelling, its more like I just type it really fast and dont give a fuck lol
Hintalove Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 I for one, have no idea how he remembers all this shit so vividly. It's probably a good thing I don't have a blog my self. If I did it would probably go something like the following: -Arrived at current.. >Beer >Beer >Beer >Ooo, boobies showed up >Beer >Beer >Sushi is now grabbing said boobies >Beer >Beer >Pass out on the train home >Sausage Muffinx2 + Hash <3 >Sleep through sunday
jcyl29 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 put up some adsense on ur blog...with all the visitors coming from here, you can make some easy $ Just curious, when u're at current, do u still talk to ur friends and boobies there about gg?
Spirit Juice Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 its not that i dont know proper grammar and spelling, its more like I just type it really fast and dont give a fuck lol Yeah I know, but it's still lol.
ElvenShadow Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 jcyl, I was thinking about putting the adsense on there but it only pays you whens someone actually clicks on it, not when someone visits the site alone. I figured none of you are actually going to click on any of them... but if thats not the case I wouldnt mind making some extra arcade/beer money :D as far as Current and GG, sometimes, like they all know I play it so sometimes they ask if I had a tournament and stuff, and sometimes I talk to Matt about GG but I would say it certainly isnt the prime topic of conversation. Matt, its totally true though haha
jcyl29 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 well that is only one type of ad...there are ads that pay per impression which means no one has to click. You also put kontera context link ads...but hey ad is a much bigger beast than gg, so maybe the effort and time spent may not be worth it for u...besides you need to get 100 in ad $ before u get a check. So do when you're at the tourney, do u speak in japanese or english to the other players?
ElvenShadow Posted June 5, 2008 Author Posted June 5, 2008 Ah really? I dunno, I will look into the ad stuff later when I have more time. Ill try to get something that I can get paid from that wont take up like half the screen and piss people off. I speak Japanese, most players dont know any English at all, aside from Umemura who is basically fluent since he lived in California for 2 years
