ElvenShadow Posted May 8, 2008 Author Posted May 8, 2008 cool, then im honored he would want to team with me, though I honestly have no idea when the next time i could make it to kansai, ill have to look into it and email him and if hes serious about it maybe ill make another trip down there. also... I updated the pictures section with a few photos from this past weekend
BioLogIn Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 ElvenShadow Thinking of it now, I'm not quite sure I haven't mistaken Kuni for Koto. Both are surely solid, but I think the Baiken I saw in a-cho finals was Koto, not Kuni. You can probably check this out yourself on a-cho website, I tend to mess up even the simplest kana, as you can see. Sorry to misinform you, in case I actually did (

Sorry to misinform you, in case I actually did ( I've seen both play, and while Koto seems stronger overall, Kuni is still really good IIRC. And yes, Koto is the one that frequents a-cho, while I've only seen Kuni's videos on his blog.
Hellmonkey Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Damn, I'm surprised ABEGEN didn't pull out the victory for your team :<
axel Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Judging from your blog post, it seems like KA2's team has qualified for SBO, since the C-2 area qualifier is at Ikebukuro GIGO. And also the Taiwanese players were there? IIRC the I-no player was the same guy I teamed up with in the LCQ last year.
ElvenShadow Posted May 12, 2008 Author Posted May 12, 2008 Kyle, yes their team has qualified, I thought I made it clear in my post, was it worded awkwardly?
axel Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Kyle, yes their team has qualified, I thought I made it clear in my post, was it worded awkwardly? Are you addressing me? If so then after reading through that part again, I guess perhaps you should have mentioned again that the 'finals' you were referring to was the area qualifiers. Then again in your previous blog post, you did mention that the qualifers at Ikebukuro GIGO was the area qualifier, so it's just memory block on my part.
doragonkoroshi Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 That's why you should always use memory unblockables.
ElvenShadow Posted May 12, 2008 Author Posted May 12, 2008 Kyle, ok, I didnt have time to proof read the blog yesterday before I posted it, I fixed it now. Also, check your email
axel Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 I don't remember telling you my name is Kyle? Unless that's some new way of addressing others which I have no idea about it?
ElvenShadow Posted May 13, 2008 Author Posted May 13, 2008 lol sorry about that. looks like I made a mistake. For whatever reason it seems that at some point I confused you with being Kyle AKA stunedge, the Ky player. NEVERMIND!
axel Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Elvenshadow: There's a chance that I may be going to Tokyo from 24th May to 1st June. If I really happen to be down, will you mind teaming with me for the qualifiers on weekends?
ElvenShadow Posted May 13, 2008 Author Posted May 13, 2008 axel, thats the same time Kyle (aka stunedge) will be here. I suppose the 3 of us could make a team and see how it goes. What character do you play again? Sorry I forgot ^_^;
axel Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 I play Eddie as main, can't blame you for forgetting since I had only played you once last year. Currently things are looking optimistic, and it'll be great if we can join the area qualifiers for B-4 at Saitama and B-5 at Chiba.
ElvenShadow Posted May 14, 2008 Author Posted May 14, 2008 excellent, I never have a problem teaming up with that broke ass character. So if you will be here on the 24th, that would be the saturday, Yachiyodai chiba B-5 prelim, and then on the 25th is the Saitama B-4 final qualifier. Theres a B-5 chiba one on the same day but it always makes sense to go to the final tournament for any series because thats the one that really counts. I will enter 2 B-4 saitama tournaments this weekend, so if I actually happen to win one of them I will keep the same team for the final tournament on the 25th, but we will see what happens. Just count on playing in any case.
zer0kage Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Good luck team. Axel, I really hope with Elvenshadow and stunedge, you'll qualify this time. It'll be even better some of Singapore's crew like Airconman or maybe jae can follow you as well for the experience.
Mayftw Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 *gives you Chicago powah!* wish you the best of luck for qualifiers! hope you make it! :3
ElvenShadow Posted May 15, 2008 Author Posted May 15, 2008 lol, someone from california is giving me (who is from Chicago) Chicago power? Well thanks for trying ^_^;
Silmerion Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 lol, someone from california is giving me (who is from Chicago) Chicago power? Well thanks for trying ^_^; I can give you Wisconsin Power if you want, but I'm not sure what it would do. You might get drunk faster.
