EasyModeNub Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Finally caught up on all the blog posts. lol What's with the japanese kid asking about Latif? If he asks again tell him Latif is in like Arizona or something, the place where nobody plays GG.
ElvenShadow Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 He just thinks latiff has really nice combos and stuff basically. That "kid" is really good at the game though, hes a solid and smart player. Im also pretty sure Latiff is from Texas unless he moved
Killerwatt Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Cool! You fought Jonio! (which is how I think it's supposed to be spelled). He's one of the Johnny's I follow; excellent player, but of course you already know this with first hand experience.
Honnou Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Time for yellow johnny to come back and put a hurting on people this weekend. Let's skii! That next date you suggested is perfect for Tomoko and I!
axel Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Is Ogawa joining BB for SBO this year? Is he playing Carl Clover? That's who I'm gonna play when the game hits my arcade!
ElvenShadow Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 i havnt seen ogawa in a very long time so I have no idea. last time i talked to him though he was using Carl but I have no idea of his SBO plans. Rod, good shit
10stars Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 Since i dont have time to run through all of the posts to see if you've come in contact with him, i was wondering - have you ever run into Suzumes Johnny?
ElvenShadow Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 I teamed up with him a long time ago for something at Sportsland, I dont even remember what it was. If you want to know, you better get reading, its in there somewhere . hes still around though
Hintalove Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 I still don't think Jonnio is that good, but maybe I was blinded when I was watching his first vids. Not that I beat him consistantly or anything, but its not like fighting the green Johnny, or even say KA2's Johnny. That said, I hate losing to his slayer:arg:
rtl42 Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 mike, didn't you team up with Suzume for your last AC qual (for SBO)?
ElvenShadow Posted January 29, 2009 Author Posted January 29, 2009 Hmm yea that might have been it. Actually I think its the tournament you came to watch
rtl42 Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 yeah that sounds right, i seem to recall checking the brackets afterwards and making a :O face when i saw your team lol.
Killerwatt Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Wow, you teamed up with THE Suzume? He is the only JO I know that can be argued over being better that BLEED. What's he up to? Does he even still play? I barely see any new AC vids of him.
ElvenShadow Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 blog updated with more Japan shinanigans
axel Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 LOL I remember the yellow Robo-ky! He got a very fanciful Robo-ky and will do stuffs like L2 Steam FRC -> Bazooka.
10stars Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Man suzume lost all his matches :[. He's still the Johnny i want to be. Awesome to hear you teamed with him.
ElvenShadow Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 blog updated again with the last G3 ranbat before the final main event
ElvenShadow Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 added some new pictures as well from 2 weekends ago that I never got around to putting up
EasyModeNub Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 He just thinks latiff has really nice combos and stuff basically. That "kid" is really good at the game though, hes a solid and smart player. Im also pretty sure Latiff is from Texas unless he moved He moved to Arizona because UTA wouldn't take him for some stupid reason. He's from Saudi technically but he reps Texas lol. I just wish he would actually practice ever Nobody is arizona plays GG so now he's winning... sigh... Brawl tournies. Still really solid player though. Dude taught himself how to play in arcade mode against comps, so he should be easy to get back into practice if he ever moves back to Austin.
ElvenShadow Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 blog updated a little long but worth the read
Honnou Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 many thanks again for hosting us and to your lady for the ramen, it was really nice and everyone had a great time. sorry for the no show on akiba, felt like shit and just slept slept slept until work rolled around. my bad, gotta get better at waking up on time. that was my bad, bro.
ElvenShadow Posted February 19, 2009 Author Posted February 19, 2009 its all good, you didnt really miss anything. I ended up buying a new DS in Numata, found a black and red one used for 12300 yen which is better than the cheapest deal I found in Akiba.
Zerite Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHijYZnUC7Y&feature=related I don't know if you know about this. It's you playing rachel at mi-ka-do, except there is a giant wall of text over the whole thing and your name is spelled wrong. Twice.
ElvenShadow Posted February 19, 2009 Author Posted February 19, 2009 lol oh man, never expected to see that online. This was from that one tournament I found on accident one day at Mikado that Megane-Jin won. That Litchi player fucked me up. Upon watching it though, even though I lost both rounds they were both closer than I remembered. I never did learn that matchup. I dont play Rachel anymore anyway so I dont really care haha. ...and yea... they always spell my name wrong.... nice find though if anyone else ever finds vids of me please post them cuz I probably dont know about them
